I'd say it's the same roommate he complained hogged the freezer. I don't he has been moved from the 2nd apt to a 3rd. Not yet anyway.
I don't think he said anything out in the open about the roommate he had in the 1st apt. About the 1st week of Oct he was moved to the 2nd apt.

Well i'll be fucked - my prediction of the werns afterlife came true. He's forced to live in a shitty apartment with a roommate who is essentially just like him, right down to screaming about politicians. Lucas is legit having to live with somebody who does the same shit he does...and getting ignored by management when he calls to bitch about it. Fucking lol

No way that arrangement is going to last very long. Lucas won't take that for very long without blowing a gasket himself. Especially if the guy is ranting about trump constantly. They're going to end up with a mini bernie-trump war in that apartment and inevitable screaming matches. I won't be surprised if lucas gets his ass beat over it before long

I have to wonder if it was deliberate on the part of management. Its definitely not ethical but I wouldn't be surprised if both of them pissed off management to the point they just said fuck it and dumped them in together so they'd drive each other mental until one of them did something to justify being evicted, so management would get rid of at least one of them. If not then I have to question just how remarkably stupid management is that they would do this and not realize what the inevitable outcome will be

That moment lucas finds out the reason the roommate wanted so much freezer space was to store all his trump brand steaks, turns around and suddenly starts screaming incoherently at his roommate for being a right wing bigot republican fascist oligarch who hoards all the women and won't stop wearing stupid baseball caps and the roommate just stands there staring dumbfounded for a few seconds out of shock wondering where all this sudden insanity is coming from

Why are you eating those trump steaks bigot? Yes you are! Yes you are! Fucking flatbill republican won't give me the hookup but you'll fill my freezer with your bigot trump steaks! Bernie sanders upon you bigot!

I wonder if his 'lack of internet and phone' for a month had anything to do with this roommate and him fighting over something and lucas getting a beat down over it and hiding until some obvious beating related injuries healed

I don't know.....getting his ass beat by his roommate would be amusing, but a better new years gift would be the roommate getting drunk off his ass and trying to kiss lucas, leading to lucas having an absolute meltdown and start screeching about how he's totally not gay while calling his roommate a trumpanzee faggot, until he snaps and ends up spending new years day on a 72 hour psych hold, to return to an eviction and the start of a sudden hobo saga
