Thank god the pride shit is dying. I really, really can't wait for it to die further. When losers infiltrated our community, they sold EVERYONE out against our will while yelling "WE'RE NOT SELL OUTS! WE'RE NOT SELL OUTS!!" thinking it would magically stop by word alone despite buying their corporate queer merchandise. They turned us into a lifestyle brand. Yuck!
 
I've seen people on twitter talking about "the gays melting down" over companies not changing their profile picture, yet it's probably just an extremely vocal minority of homosexuals that actually give a shit. If they act retarded loud enough, everyone gets grouped in.

Yeah, I absolutely dont give any shits whatsoever. I'm not even slightly warm let alone "melting down"

Just treat me the same as all your other customers, my cash is every bit as good as any straight persons and will put food on your family's table just the same

It's just a symptom of being overly online. I've not seen particularly many mainstream media outlets even covering it except the usual gender blob sperg. Most normal people understood that the "Pride" branding was always a cynical exercise that could change at any moments notice.

Thats one of my favourite films! It got a happy ending! Given that its based off of a book written in 1913 when happy endings for gay men were pretty thin on the ground, its a great uplifting feel good movie.

Somewhat different but with a similarly uplifting ending is Latter Days, its set in the present but has a really positive vibe, reckon you might like it

I only have one contemporary gay film I like, and that's Clapham Junction. But that's only because James Wilby and Rupert Graves from Maurice are in it. If they weren't, I wouldn't give a fuck.

My attraction for British Merchant Ivory actors is the only reason I even cared about it. I think I know Latter Days because Joe Go is in it, which speaking of that, I have heard good things about that one weird film he did in the 2000s, I forgot what it's called, but I'm sure Levitt played a gay or bisexual guy.

I like Joe Go, so I'd watch either.

I prefer historical drama stories though over contemporary. That includes books too, when it comes to gay shit. Contemporary bores me. Give me a WW1 gay story over some boring ass 2000's shit, man.
