Unless you're one of the funniest people on earth, or a top 10 player, nobody wants to watch somebody lab. It's the most boring part of fighting games despite being important.

If Slowbeef is using it just as a personal archive so he can go back and check what he previously labbed, fair enough. But if he actually wants views from his Street Fighter stuff he should do something like challenging DSP to a match.

If Slowbeef loses to DSP in a fighting game, any remaining credibility and good will he has will be gone, and he'll be forever known as the guy DSP bodied, and not the creator of let's play. Slowbeef might actually go completely insane.

I mean there's a non-zero chance of that happening, because I actually remember what he was like as a let's player. He was pretty much fucking carried by his cohosts throughout the Metroid Prime trilogy. And I don't mean with commentary, he often had to have his handheld. He actually get through the game.

Oddly enough, his let's plays were closest to DSP in terms of tone, with his co-host serving as a sort of John Rambo to cut it down.

People should start mentioning innocently in Slowbeef's comments that they're pretty sure it was DSP who invented the let's play, not slowbeef.

slowbeef will not beat DSP at Street Fighter.

slowbeef, armed with his 500 lab videos, will go in with a notion of how the game is "supposed to" work. Phil will play like an absolute retard in a way that spits in the face of civilized Street Fighter, and slowbeef will have no idea how to counter it or adapt because it's totally outside of his worldview. He'll lose, call Phil a moron, and go right back to what he was doing without changing anything.

Just like his streaming career.

I'd go as far to say that slowbeef could not beat anyone alive who placed top ~64 in any EVO ever, in any game.

Yes that includes DSP and anyone who played that Sailor Moon fighting game.
