My girlfriend's rewatching Girls at the moment (unfortunately she's a fan), so I'm pretty desensitized to this kind of thing. I'm still trying to scrub the image of her snogging Riz Ahmed in an ill-fitting bikini from my brain, and "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison is forever ruined for me, because I now permanently associate it with the image of Lena's builder's bum.

Nah, Chris is a lumpy potato with gynecomastia on top of two spindly little stick legs. Lena's just a pear, though on the more extreme end- all her fat goes to her thighs and lower stomach.

Fuck just came back here after a long while and didn’t even recognize Lena. How do you strive to be important in Hollywood and yet let yourself become a dumpy apple-shaped sack of...that? That post above of her trying on clothes is mind-bending. How does anyone stand in their own home in new clothes and still manage to look homeless?

I think that's what's most perplexing about Lena: she can afford looking better. But she doesn't want to. She'd rather have the sweet, sweet attention that comes from being the ugly (and now sick as well) duckling than putting an effort and - perhaps the worst in her narcissistic mindset - being just one of the many beautiful ladies in the showbiz.
It becomes infuriating, even, if you realize there are so many women that weren't blessed with natural beauty either, often living with self-esteem issues that could be fixed by expensive treatments but they can't afford it, or they can but won't because they'd rather spend what extra money they have on something for their kids, rather than themselves. Sometimes depriving themselves from simple pleasures (like going to the beach) or even relationships because they feel too self-conscious.
And then this dumb cunt decides to let her fortune go to waste by making herself increasingly ugly, and now unhealthy as well. She's in her thirties, she could be living such a lovely life - even more since she doesn't want kids anyway, as she doesn't even have to care about The Wall; she could take her sweet time travelling, studying whatever she feels interested in, going to any events she likes, making friends, volunteering in some cause she believes in, enjoying everything life has to offer.
Damn, I know so many old ladies who never had kids, who aren't nearly as wealthy as Lena and who have lived such a rich life - with great stories to tell, a wide social circle, a work they can be proud of (be it an actual profession or charity work). They will (or they are, in the case of those who passed away) be remembered fondly by so many - and, mind you, they never needed to show their tits on camera for any of it.
Nothing really holds her back - except for her pathological need to be the center of attention, to play the perpetual victim and to downplay her immense privilege.

I think even Lena knows not to get near that trainwreck. Though, it would be interesting to see Tess coo over her, since Lena is more popular and has actually done a bit more with her life, than write a shitty book of lies and posed nude.
