Only 1.5% of full time workers in the US are paid minimum wage, half of those are under 25, 80% are unmarried with no dependents. This is a far cry from the 13.4% of full time workers making minimum wage in 1979. The demographic of "family of 4 making minimum wage to survive" practically doesn't exist, yet we're supposed to destroy our economy just for their sake.

The irony with that one is that Trump attacked Pat Buchanan twice, once in the early 90's and then again in 1999, over his thesis that World War II could have been avoided (misconstrued into a 'pro nazi' argument by the media). Trump seemed legitimately offended over it.
