Shit like this almost hurts to look at. Contrived Platitudes used to be a great Facebook page that made memes, clever satirical pictures, ad parodies, and such. Stuff that almost could have been real and sometimes fooled people when shared. Was pretty high quality stuff.

Because the rest of us are uptight, sexually repressed "vanilla" prudes who get extra triggered by their enlightened openness.

Now, they need to realize that to make jokes work, specifically this kind of layup joke, you don't have the subject of your ire invalidate his own argument before the retort. You basically don't even need the reasonable Leftist to respond because the assertion is already broken two panels before the punchline. So it fails as a meme, satire and an argument.
