The meme also fails on the semiotic level. Trump, as (what I assume to be) a tugboat, can be interpreted as a helpful if unglamorous force of society, and capable of choosing its path; Biden, on the other hand, is shown as a costly and purely destructive entity with no control of its actions.

The point is, any leftist that claims to be anti-imperialist is bullshitting themselves and others. Both because their ideology has very little foundation upon which to be anti-imperialist, and because many of the most important people to their ideology were pro-imperialist.
