Remember when Lauren Southern was just some obscure girl making edgy videos about why she didn't need feminism while making shitty "I identify as an attack helicopter!" jokes?
Now a ton of Alt-Righters hold her in high regard because she's a female "reporter" who reaffirms their beliefs. The "female" part is important.
Honestly, though, as time went on, I began to see her as just a female Milo.

Alt-right? since when?
I can't really get behind this.
1) Alt righters don't produce the same amount of salt as SJW's, neither the same type, there's something about being so cocky while at the same time displaying how you're wtong in your logic in the same tweet.
Frankly I debate SJWs and /pol/tards as well, and usually it only takes 7min max to counter an SJW, but nearly 30min to do so with a /pol/tard and even then they leave a lot of grey area where they COULD be right.
2) I might have actually been due to wrongthink.
I've never seen any Alt-right vids complaining about coalburning, just the faggots at /pol/.

I never knew Patreon's CEO was a goony beard man, but I really should have suspected it.

Funnily enough all the people who were glad to see her patreon shut down are having a very difficult time celebrating.
In the last couple of weeks the problem in the Mediterranean has become more and more obvious, now the Italian government is outright threatening to stop NGO vessels from docking in their ports because they're effectively traffickers at this point and are clearly not saving anyone. They'll also be patrolling the waters near Libya with navel vessels to deter the smugglers.
And just a couple days ago Italian authority's released video of a German NGO directly collaborating with smugglers. They were filmed 'rescuing' a group of migrants from a perfectly safe boat which they then helped the smugglers recover and take back to Libya to be used again. And they really weren't making any attempt to hide the fact that they don't give a fuck about the law or the authority's either, their boat had a placard on the front that said 'Fuck IMRCC' (Italian Maritime Rescue Coordination Center)
Lauren and the 'Defend Europe' group she's involved with that got her banned are pretty happy right now considering this is precisely what they wanted.
