Why am I not surprised that Jace doesn't know how to cook and has his mom do it for him, but that he also nearly blew up Kyle's house because he doesn't know how to use a gas stove?

Kyle is easily becoming my favorite member of Deagle Nation.
A better question is why confirmed weeaboo Jace doesn't recognize it or even basic Hirigana.
I believe mochi is vegan and gluten free. That may be why he was it.

Their whole house is pretty sweet. Six-burner stainless-steel gas range, hardwood flooring, those French doors...they're not wealthy, but they seem pretty well-off.
(You know you're over thirty when you're watching Jace fuck around with a gas stove and find yourself thinking, "Those are some well-designed cabinets.")
