I've bought alcohol from liquor stores while absolutely trashed, they don't give a fuck. You have to wonder what he's doing to make these cashiers kick him out. I think he's tripping over like the hat attack video while muttering or possibly screaming about sickos.

I used to binge drink heavily and would go to stores drunk all the time. You learn when drunk to at least 'try' and be normal. You do the weird straight leg walk, don't talk too much, you don't speak at anyone in case they smell your breath, and just generally get your booze and get the fuck back home to get more smashed. Cobes probably seems drunk and openly acts drunk, not to mention he is already a walking spectacle. Also, liquor stores know what you are doing but 'respectable' grocery stores have very little tolerance for shit like that.

The most I can figure is he came in drunk, looked and smelled like shit, employees told him to leave, and then he sperged out.

Either way, I wonder what kinda made-up stories we are getting about the 4th? Kick-ass guitar solo and everyone at the party applauded? Some girl at the family get-together hit on him? Everyone was asking whether to call him Lord King Cobra and how was it being a famous YouTuber?

Those grocery store liquor stores always operate more selectively than regular ones since they have normal grocery customers coming in as well. You definitely don't want some dude who looks like Cobes rolling in drunk from the night before and making a scene. Should have just gone to a convenience store or something, shoot around here you can self checkout alcohol as long as they check your ID.

Regular liquor stores don't care unless you are so outright intoxicated you can't conceal it, they know why people are waiting for them to open and what they want. There's one around here that sells beer by the pint to consume in-store even.

More ghetto liquor stores probably wouldn't even care at all, at least you're not robbing the place.

Most likely. I somewhat knew a guy like cobra (even kind of looked like him) and he would look up porn on his phone all the time. He even had the pornhub app on his phone. He was a creep.

Yea all his videos where taken from that one place outside, where he was told it's the only place he can smoke so set up shop in the corner with his allowed alcohol and pipe and sat there occasionally talking to passing family members and just doing his own thing.

Right there may be some potential liability for selling to an intoxicated customer but it's a lot more difficult to prove a causal connection if the person, say, drove there and back and got in an accident. Depending on the situation it could be worse for the store to refuse vs. the risk of any liability.

It'd be different if a person were consuming alcohol on site, they will almost always cut you off if you're across the line. Only exception I ever encountered was in college for obvious reasons (i.e. nobody drove to the bars and it's college so nobody GAF).

By the way - for anyone curious the cheap plastic bottle vodka Cobes was drinking and backwashing somewhere back in the thread was Viaka vodka from the McCormick Distilling Co. Really gnarly bottom shelf stuff, I'd take Popov over it any day were I drinking before noon on a Wednesday.
