Your post triggered a serious sense of deja vu. I’ve had a friend with a cyst stubbornly insist to take an 18 hour cross country trip with our friend group. It amazingly didn’t burst until the last 4 hours, but by God the stench made that 4 hours feel longer than the other 14.
