To be honest that's what at least 50% of academia is. You only start to filter out people who actually know how to write (or at least how to pretend to know) after a decade or so in the biz - and not because they improve but because by then all the stupid shitheads end up dropping out of teaching gigs and such. Kevin is the prime and, unfortunately, common example of this.
For people who only know how to minimally pass in school every single year (or near misses) staying in college as a professor or PHD student is nothing but a natural progression of things. They don't know how to do anything but just keep going through the motions since elementary school. This holds especially true for people who go into bullshit human majors like Gender Studies since they don't actually have any other option in the real world, which is what Kevin Beyoncé Allred is going though right now, with all the grace of a real high school dropout.
I wouldn't be too ashamed to say that near 100% of Gender Studies and other bullshit academics are like this. People who are too lazy to even consider a real major, let alone find a real job or actually put effort into what they do for a living. Again, Kevin is the perfect example.
(I'm also not on a crusade against you, it's not my fault that you're making the points worth discussing on all these threads. If anything, I appreciate you for it! Sorry if I sound combative.)
