Ah, of course, the best way to convince people to join your side is to blast your paranoid ravings for all to see and let everyone know you have weird revenge fantasies about people who felt they were behaving in their own self-interest and in the best interests of the country.
I forget if I've mentioned this before, but I've been truly baffled by the way the left has conducted themselves in the wake of the election of Donald Trump. They lost because, while the coasts and major urban centers were sympathetic to them, areas of the country with fewer people and larger electoral pull were not. Any reasonable organization would look at that and say, "Okay, we know where we have a shortage of voters in favor of us, what can we do to convince those people to vote for us in the future?" The left has done the exact opposite of this and has resorted to doubling down on the public hatred of Trump and the people who voted for him, calling them "uneducated hicks" who "deserve to be replaced." This signals to Trump voters that the left wil never have their interests at heart, and thus they will never vote for them. If you keep doing the same things you've always done, you'll keep getting the same results you always have. Granted, the left has been trying to offset this by importing minorities who they can ensure a vote from by pandering to them, but I don't see that strategy paying off in the long run.
