As weird and incongruous a juxtaposition as "juggalo" and "feminism" seems, isn't the entire history of ICP an attempt to bring a moral message ("the Christian God loves you,") to a group of people who traditionally might not be expected to listen to it?

"Feminism" covers a whole spectrum of ideas and philosophies, and while some are toxic or impractical, others are potentially positive and beneficial - particularly to the economically marginalised young women who typically make up the juggalo fandom.

Everything in moderation - including moderation itself.

I've never met anyone who identified as a Juggalo who wasn't a complete trash-person. Probably the highest was a Juggalo who was a shift manager at a local McDonald's. I imagine this woman was, like, Queen Juggalo due to her position.

As for Juggalo-feminism, I'm both very surprised and completely unsurprised to hear it's a thing. The few Juggalettes I've met have been strong independent clown women who don't need no man, but the few ICP songs I've had the stomach to listen to have been.... less than positive in their portrayal of women.
 
One time in some shitty backwoods town, a Juggalo drowned in the local lake after a party. They were interviewing his friends, all Juggalos, on the news and one of them said "This is like the Juggalo 9/11"

Juggalo 9/11 would be if National Beverage Corporation discontinued Faygo.

I went to the Gathering of the Juggalos in 2010 (where Tila got pelted with shit) on a dare from a friend, and I must say, it had to be one of the dumbest things I ever did. There were people fucking in the audience, people getting showered with Faygo (including myself), people selling and using drugs. But that didn't surprise me. What surprised me were the naked children running around the campgrounds and the sheer quantity of fupas I saw.

9/10, would not reattend.

Edit: Don't attend the gathering when you don't look white.

The man who runs the store I buy crickets from to feed the spider is a juggalo, but he's a really nice man who has a family and respects his animals.
He has juggalo stickers on the fridge where he keeps the frozen reptile food and juggalo stickers on his car.
 
Sorry, one last thing while we're discussing Faygo. They make two lines of Faygo here in Detroit. The regular kind with high-fructose corn syrup and the premium with cane sugar. The HFCS one sucks ass. That's the stuff Juggalos drink. It goes back to this bullshit about how one guy in ICP was poor so he couldn't even afford Pepsi or Coke or something, so he had to get the cheaper Faygo. The premium Faygo on the other hand comes in glass bottles and it is like fucking nectar of the Gods. The creme soda and the root beer are among the best. The regular stuff is complete shit. Sorry, off-topic, but Faygo is sort of a metaphor for Juggalism.
