Did this poor girl wander out into the cold with the intention of dying from exposure? Or did she just underestimate how long she could last in subfreezing temps with such low body fat?
Some years ago there was a case where a boy was raped and then set on fire by an older boy. The victim survived, the attacker got time in I believe juvenile prison for the rape and was released. But the victim then developed cancer caused from the burns and died and the attacker was tried and sentenced for some form of murder, but maybe man slaughter. I almost feel like that line of thinking could apply here, that death resulting from long term effects of abuse could land this pedophilic whale in prison, especially if this death was just an accident because she was so unhealthy due to self-abuse and starvation. I wonder if there is enough in terms of records to show the grooming, the encouragement for self-harm, the encouragement of anorexia.
It's very strange to me that her parents permitted this sort of grooming and interaction between Keely and the landwhale. The family was extremely religious - active in church, going on missions to Africa, Keely was involved in ministries for the hungry and homeless. It's hard to reconcile that with their child pretending to be a boy to satisfy a pedophile - surely someone somewhere in her household noticed a toothless hillperson was preying on their daughter/sister. Right? Fuck, I'm glad I don't have kids.
