Rebel Media is owned by gross, shady Ezra Levant who forces all people who leave to sign NDAs, but good that mentally ill freak Yaniv is going to be behind bars. They're clearly a danger to society.

Rebel Media are a bunch of shithouses but if it results in more woes for Yaniv, all the better. RM's five minutes of potential glory from this will fade in short order. Nothing of value will have been lost.

that's not how it works in the US either. you do not get to decide to press charges. it is the government v. you in a criminal case. a prosecuting attorney must do it, but they usually won't if you won't help them as the victim.

The crown can prosecute independent of the victims wishes.
