JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Part 9 Jojolands currently ongoing
Am I the only one who thinks Jonathan was best Jojo, or atleast one of the better Jojos? Part 1 is pretty weak, but Jonathan was great. So was Speedwagon and Dio.
There's a lot of stuff I'm excited about for Part 5, specifically everything to do with Diavolo and King Crimson. I don't have the slightest idea how you'd translate that power into animation, especially since the manga wasn't the greatest at showing it (or explaining it, for that matter). I'm kind of hoping they'll throw in a "It just works!" at some point. Also, I found the conversations between Doppio and Diavolo really entertaining in the manga, so I'm looking forward to those as well.
Part 7 is the one I'm really looking forward to, even though I know it's years off in the future at this point, assuming it even happens. I need to see my favorite late 19th century grill man in motion.

Should I watch JoJo or read it? I've procrastinated it for years. I like the openings especially fighting gold but that's all I really know besides the memes.

Good point. I thought maybe one would have more content than the other (excluding filler) since anime tends to take out some parts of the story because of run time or censorship

also, i feel like jojolion is coming to an end soon. it'll probably be 24 volumes like sbr, so i estimate jojolion will end in 2020 or 2021 at the latest. part 9 will probably be the last part unless araki makes a 10th part. i cant see araki being in his 90s working on a part 12 or 13

Took me awhile to figure out King Crimson because I read the original shit translation, but Gold Expierence Requiem helped me understand it.
KC: Reaction with out the action.
GER: Action without the reaction.
I also imagine King Crimson's power will look like the last opening of Part 4, with the way Josuke leaves this after image of him walking towards the camera. I think Araki used the artwork "Nude descending a staircase" by Duchamp for his inspiration.

I've always understood KC's power through the Futurama episode "Time Keeps On Slippin'", just that KC is able to activate that event for 10 seconds and is only really useful at all because of Epitaph. I think that's a good way of understanding it, too. As for the animation thing, I think that could work. I know that the weird offsets Araki did in the manga made it kind of difficult to understand, but maybe the effect he was going for just works better in animation.
