Yeah, you see glimmers of realization in some of his FB posts like "if i'm so handsome how come everyone ignores me?" and "right. i'm ugly as hell".

but then he just sort of drops the ball and wanders off because those realizations are unpleasant, and Chris has made a life around ignoring unpleasant things.
