I once performed a very scientific experiment with friends. We found that bowling becomes the most fun about half an hour after your second White Russian, and ceases being fun once someone starts taking it seriously.

Agree. I had a lot of fun bowling when I was younger, but you always have the person in the group that thinks they're a real bowler and it ruins everything.
Any sport that can be/was dominated by fat, middle-aged white men is not worth stressing about.

It’s fun but IMO only with a small group (no more than six) and only if no one is going to be all Al Bundy about it.

yes but im bad at it and so is everyone i play with, it's a nice excuse to drink and eat junk food with people
