I've been following the CWC thing for a long time now. Recent Christory has been really dull but he's really been picking it up lately so I finally felt like registering an account to talk about it.

Also, I had a minor role in Christory, a long time ago. I used to hang on /v/ a lot back when they first made Sonichu threads. I must have caught the Mimms one because I saved that pic of him at the Game PLace table. I was thinking 'maybe I'll use this to troll Pokemon threads sometime."

Then one day someone made a 'I want to make an ED article about Chris-Chan' thread on /v/ and I was like 'here's a picture of him if you need it.'

There's no way to prove this, obviously- and I'm sure someone else would have posted the pic if I hadn't, but yeah. That's my 15 seconds of Christory. Cheers!

There really isn't much more to the story, though- I never thought Chris would blow up into the huge thing it became with wikis and forums and youtube archives and whatnot. So I didn't commit much of those /v/ days to memory, I couldn't give precise dates on this or anything like that.

I do remember thinking shecameforCWC.jpg was his 'sister' Crystal, and when 'dykes dykes china!' hit I (and others) posted the thought that he was talking about the dykish wrestler Chyna.

TvTropes originally introduced me to Sonichu and subsequently to Chris around Chris's birthday in 2010. I was supposed to be writing an anthropology essay at the time, but I became too engrossed into the horrors and eccentricities of this man. I've held a bile fascination for Chris's whereabouts ever since because I see so much of myself in him as well.

These forums seem to be a cool place to hang out during these dry spells of activity.

I started following the Chris Chan saga around 2008, but not very closely until about a year ago. Up until then I would check the ED page every now and then and see if there was anything new, but then I found the CWCki and just got drawn in. To me, it's just like a never ending soap opera, you never know what will happen next, but unlike real life, I have no control over anything that happens. Sometimes I have to force myself to remember that this is what he's really like, he's not an epic troll that's keeping everyone stringing along, even though sometimes it seems like it. On the other hand, even though he's a pretty shitty person, I can't help but feel pity, and even a little bit of compassion for him, especially now when I see him as a hollow shell of a person. Like Impossibility said, now that he's starting to get more active again, I figured I would also make an account to talk about it.

I've been fascinated by Chris ever since a friend introduced me to the CWCki ages ago, and, out of sheer curiosity, I decided now was the time to join the forums.

I consider myself to be neither a white knight nor a troll; just someone who is, as I said, fascinated by Chris's abnormal antics and wants to observe them.

So I'll be popping in from time to time, mainly to marvel and shake my head.

I've been here for a few weeks but haven't posted here yet.

I discovered Chris sometime around 2009-2010 while clicking the "random" button on Encyclopedia Dramatica (a dangerous passtime, I know). Before long I found my way to the CWCki and have been following his story ever since.
