Honestly, 1/6 was the Democrats' perfect opportunity to gain near universal support from normies and independents.
But they have fucked things up so royally this year, that I am willing to be that there are people that went from "Man, the riot at the capital was really bad" to "Fuck it, those jerks deserved it. They should do it again. I'll help this time!".
Seriously, they can go on and on about 1/6 all they want but the fact is that they've completely screwed the pooch to the point that its become impossible to defend Biden, his administration, or the Democrats as a whole without sounding like living in pure denial and fantasy.
