This is not remotely true. The moment i turned 30 I started getting significantly more attention than I did in my 20s, and I am not better looking than I was then. I have no clue wtf causes it but it's very real.
30 isn't old. I'm not talking about men in their 30s dating 20something women, which is perfectly normal. I'm talking about the revenge fantasies some men have about hitting middle age and having to beat off teen poon with a stick. If you weren't successful with women when you were young, it's not going to magically change when you're fatter, balder, and wrinklier.

Settling in general would probably help a ton of incels. If they settled for a basic becky or ogress that matched them in terms of looks, who knows maybe they could be happy... Or stay miserable since incel logic is inherently contradictory.

Oh, and I get that guy probably wanted to help the cop he saw laying on the ground near the one with the gun... but to lurch over a crouched cop with a gun during an active shooting. That was a high IQ move even better if he just silently pulled up on them and didn't expect to get shot.

r/K selection applied to human beings is retarded. The difference between having three kids in a monogamous marriage you educate carefully and having ten kids by different dudes that you kick out the door as soon as they're off the tit only seems like a big deal if you're only looking at humans. But r/K selection is about the difference between sea turtle-style breeding and alligator-style breeding. It's about the reproductive process, not about culture (which animals don't even have). All human reproduction is K.

You're main point about r & k selection humans is 100% true, but alligators and sea turtles are both just different flavors of K.

If you wanted to go reptile-to-reptile r vs k, Anole lizards (especially Brown anoles) are a much better example of r selection because they can just shit out loads of babies in under three years, and quickly adapt and colonize new environments post-disturbance.

r & k is best illustrated in plant species, however, where you have the full spectrum of "hundreds of years old tree" to "short-lived perinnel weed".

wewlad, you'll never guess what we're only looking at

Since humans are never going to lay thousands of eggs to be externally fertilized by a passing male and then left to fend for themselves, it's pretty clear r/K-selection is being used as an analogy for how humans display different mating strategies depending on their current or expected circumstances.
