He may have been putting on a show, but it was such a good show that I have no regrets.

Its been such an awesome and hilarious thing to have been part of. Jan and whoever else is directly involved are really talented. I'm pretty sure we have seen part of the inception of what will end up filling the void in wacky sketch comedy of The Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job.

As much as I love making fun of lolcows, I would be thrilled to see a bunch of them get their act together & improve themselves. It would be bittersweet, because I'd miss following their antics, but I'd be genuinely happy for them. That's kinda how I feel about all this.
I'm actually relieved that Jace isn't real, because he really needed help. Mad props to Jan for convincingly acting like an unmedicated paranoid schizophrenic.

I'm sad to see it end and I'm a little disappointed that it's fake, but I can't be angry. No regrets either. I didn't follow Deagle Nation religiously, but I had a great time checking in on them now and again. The streams were great. I genuinely wish the actors the best. The whole thing was pretty artful.

Didn't that very fake looking beat down video make anyone question this whole thing?

Yeah, that was right around the time I started paying attention to DN and I remember commenting here that it looked extremely staged and I was downvoted into oblivion. I also used to always wonder why Jace never once showed any photo or video evidence that that the MISIS operation actually happened. We were just supposed to blindly believe it happened. A lot of people did, but that always nagged at the back of my brain.

I don't care if this was all a ruse, it was so beautifully done, as many before me have stated. Hats off to Jan Rankowski, you glorious motherfucker.

There were always little things if you kept your eyes open. Tyce clearly reading from a script always used to piss me off because you could see his eyes following it word for word instead of memorizing it and using the script to keep from getting stuck. A lot of it was willful ignorance. Jace was real because we wanted him to be real.

I was told that DN was pretty much a real life version of these boys, so I jumped in feet first when I found the forums. Now it's five o'clock, my skin is pruny and they are kicking me out of the pool. 10/10 would be rused again.

Wow. Last weekend, my wife told me that she wanted a divorce. I'm living out of a cheap motel while going to trial on behalf of the kind of client who makes any decent criminal defense attorney question both their sanity and the basic human morality of our profession.

I logged on looking for a little escape. And, after reading all of this, what can I say? My daughter is two years old. And, yes, my and Mrs. Goodman's (mutual) dysfunction will make her life a bit more difficult than it had to be.

But she'll get to grow up with two loving parents, in a world capable of producing Jan Rankowski.

My hat's off to you, you magnificent Polish bastard.

It doesn't matter. Some people never really bought it and therefore couldn't really ever get into the whole jace thing, but other people had a lot of fun talking about it, and the couple of livestreams I caught were actually pretty funny. It's not like anyone got swindled out of money or whatever so getting fooled doesn't really mean much. I'd say that this was the perfect place to put on such a ruse since this is a community originally founded around Chris, who seems too ridiculous to be real but definitely is. I guess Chris followers are more likely than most to accept something like this, so well done for choosing the correct audience.

I now can truly understand how Tyce's dad must've felt when he came home to find his house full of skeletons, because now I, too, have been... #TYCED

Seriously though, they got me good but I don't care at all. If they had created the Jace character, used him for a couple months and then revealed it was a hoax and asked you to buy their t-shirt, I imagine I would've been pretty salty. But to create a ruse of wild complexity and to sustain it for such a long time for so little reward, while doing so many bizarre and un-necessary things on camera in the process - I can't be anything but impressed by that. Hats off to all of them.

So according to their Youtube comments, Gamerfood still believes that this is all a massive ruse by "CIAdude" so he can keep all the lulz for himself. :story:

This is a forum about tricking people, after all.
