I feel like this video is some never before seen footage of my 600lb life before the person is in an episode. It's like you see their episode then a year later TLC releases some type of "the early years" episode into how things happened and you just get a snippet collaboration of AL spinning out the past 11 months. This girl will do anything, and I mean almost anything, to avoid the few avenues that could actually, literally help her. Therapy, even a couple appointments, would flip her world upside down in an arguably good way. Will she do it? No. Why not? You tell me. She's got no excuse not to go to a therapist, even just to test the waters, when she can drop $300 at walmart on a whim buying ten thousand journals and rainbow pride tshirts for her jobless girlfriend and similarly jobless roommate. As people have already said one appointment would challenge her in a constructive way because she'd be talking to someone whose JOB is to ask why you're here in a non-aggressive way. I think a major problem of Amberleynn's is just that, isolation from critical thought, living borderline hermit from societ, talking into a camera/phone to an audience she calls twenty-thirty-forty-fifty thousand people.

Exactly! AL it's not that there was an earwig in your house that's grossing everyone out, it's that it was crawling on your skin for more than half a video before you noticed it!
She's filmed videos before where she said she washed her hair the day prior and it was STILL wet because she keeps it in a bun while it's wet. The earwig likes dark wet places and fell out of her dark wet hair. Maybe you should use a towel to dry your hair instead of letting it sit damp for days!
Her hair probably has mold at this point.

Ugh. This girl. I actually have compulsive overeating disorder that I've fought for years. Like many OCD behaviors, fighting the urge to binge is horrific at first but you don't die and the next time, it's easier. I'm at a healthy weight but it's still goddamn work.
Our girl is so into herself that she can't stand to be uncomfortable even for a minute to improve herself. It takes work, exercise and commitment to feel better yet blames everything she tries. She has no groundwork to fall back on. Quick fixes aren't for Amber. Every time she blames everything on the binge monster or a diet plan I want to smack her in her heart attack face with one of the 600 journals she owns. It's all you, boo.

This whole video is an excellent example of something I could potentially be understanding and even somewhat sympathetic to, but can't because Amberlynn is so fucking Amberlynn it's impossible.
Here's the thing: dieting is exhausting. Even, no - especially, when you're a constant serial dieter who fails a lot. Despite the fact that's she's eating inhumane amounts of calories and not stopping, the instinct and brain busy work of being aware of how many calories/points/whatever something is doesn't actually leave you. Even when you decide to ignore it, it's always in the back of your mind somewhere.
Being overwhelmed/just wanting off that particular ride is totally normal after such a long time, especially when you're failing. you just want it to stop. But because AL is AL there are so many problems with this. WW has zero point foods specifically so you don't have to worry if you run out of points so you don't have to 'go hungry' (even if the hunger is more mental than physical). Intuitive eating is not good when you're this morbidly obese because your intuition is fucked up (something she readily admits). The number and speed of flip-flopping is giving everybody whiplash.
She has made everyone so sick of her shit so many times that what I could take as an actual valid (not useful at her weight, but valid) feeling that I 'get' to an extent, actually just makes me want to bang my head against a wall.

I guess the reason why she does it so excessively is she is lonely as fuck and imagining talking to 3k people (I refuse to acknowledge it's more) makes her feel less lonely.
Those deep rooted issues I don't even know where to start.
She could have taken her whole whine-fest to a journal, which she has so many off, to deal with it, or talk to her GIRLfriend.

I can't decide if I think Amber prime motivation for being 'done' with dieting because:
Option 1: She simply wants to die (consciously or unconsciously) but can't stomach (lol) using a more immediate method of killing herself;
Option 2: She wants to get past the magical 600 ellbees mark so she can try to get on 'My 600-Pound Life' and acquire what she thinks will be a quick fix easy solution of surgery (which of course will never happen because Dr. Now requires his patients to prove they can lose weight without the surgery and Amber would never be able to control herself enough); or
Option 3: Her limited mind has recognized she can use repeated cycles of clickbait-y titles to maintain a certain level of viewership and therefore income.
I suppose in the end it doesn't really matter. She's going to eat herself into an early grave regardless. People don't change unless they actually want to, and it's clear at this point Amber doesn't ever want to stop being the 'Binge Monster'. She might say she does, but it's a lie.
