Everyone says all engines go designs are trash they look more cute/smaller but its made for little kids not people who grew up with Thiomas the old Thomas was live action with real models so obviously they couldnt do all the same stuff because it took time now they can animate it easier and make the faces more silly and fun, if everything has to stay the same forever to Thomas might never even make more media if they made it look exactly like the old one little kids probably wouldnt even care as much making it cute isn’t a cash grab, due to Mattel needing to continue Thomas they need more fans of people who can actually watch it and people have been shown to be turned off and misunderstand the original series, so it’s a good starter for people to like Thomas. Seriously the fandom can get toxic over it like saying if hasbro owned Thomas this would have never happened even though Mattel always takes good care of Thomas its just the fans who always need to talk about Shed 17 and need to go there always complaining more than Bulgy does if you agree then nice for us but we need more people on the side of us
