The 1917 Constitution doubled down on the Anti-Clericalism introduced in the 1857 Constitution, although these Anti-Clerical laws would not be heavily enforced, due to the still ongoing Mexican Revolution. Said laws would be heavily enforced with Plutarco Elías Calles taking office in 1924. Peaceful resistance started, before turning into armed rebellions in 1926. A ceasefire was put into effect in 1929, with the Mexican government making some concessions to the Cristeros, in exchange for the Catholic Church withdrawing their support for the rebels.

A few years back video footage was found of Bismarck at the Battle of the Denmark Strait. Taken from Prinz Eugen, it shows Bismarck firing on Hood and Prince of Wales and, at the end of the video, the smoke cloud from Hood when she was hit and sunk.

I do wish the up-loader did not add sound effects to the video, but I will take what I can get.

That animal was called the Fuegian dog and it went extinct along with the last fully blooded Selk'nam. I also remember someone explained how there is a weird degree of separtion between the Selk'nam and H.P. Lovecraft but I don't remember what the finer details of that were.

It's not just Rotten Tomatoes. Imdb is also trying to cover up the ratings of certain films. The Fauci documentary for example which has been criticized by the masses as being historically inaccurate especially when authorities (especially him) tortured them with COVID restrictions such as mask mandates, lockdowns and vaccine passports. The 6.2 rating is fake. The 1.7 rating is genuine.

The first known game and one of the first known project Itou Noizi happens to be a part of. (The same person behind Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan no Shana, She was also the character designer for the series Another). It's sometimes interesting to see the roots of certain people who became famous. Be-Reave Secondary is a Collab between many artists released in 1999. The girl with the purple hair and a flower hat who I believe is named Miri is probably the first drawn character of hers for the general public.

Fun fact: despite being one of the most famous leading men of the era, he was notorious for his bad breath. This wasn't entirely his fault. He'd had a gum infection and lost most of his teeth, and the dentures of the time more or less came with bad breath.

So remember in those kissing scenes the woman is probably trying to refrain from gagging. We know this thanks to Vivienne Leigh.

Those poor women, and they couldn't even argue for equal pay as an offset to having to deal with that.

I honestly never got the appeal with him. He's not a good actor, he had the charisma of a moist towelette, and he had a goofy look. Errol Flynn, Cary Grant and Bogart make sense, but him as a leading figure is simply a mystery.

It's really sad to see people die so young. Especially her where she died at only 30% the life expectancy. That's way to young to die.

Bismarck was such a beautiful ship.
I'm well aware that her design is inefficient and antiquated even at the time of her laying, but she is definitely the quintessential modern battleship. When you think of age of sail ships, you immediately go to 1st rates and the Bismarck captured all of that energy for modern ships.

I'm well aware that her design is inefficient and antiquated even at the time of her laying, but she is definitely the quintessential modern battleship. When you think of age of sail ships, you immediately go to 1st rates and the Bismarck captured all of that energy for modern ships.

I appreciate the look of the Bismarck, but to me it isn't the best looking battleship. For me, the most asthetic battleship is a tie between the Iowa-class and Yamato-class battleships. I have a soft spot for the Pagoda masts the Japanese used and love the streamlined shape of the Iowas. I did have a 4ft  Bismarck model at one point, but i sold it. Picture below is one a took of it in operation.
