What surprises me is that he broke (what I believed was) the mold, and it somehow still worked.
If you want that very specific kind of mentally-stunted-hyper-degenerate audience, your property needs to fit in a specific pattern. It has to have a clearly recognizable main cast, and the characters from said main cast need to be color coded. It needs to be designed in such a way that you can present one color, and someone who watched/played knows immediately which character you're thinking of, just from one color alone, 2 or 3 colors at the very most. I'll use sonic as an example, but you can apply the same logic to other properties that attract the same audience.

>Yellow/orange = tails
>pink = Amy
>dark purple = big
>light purple = blaze
>black = shadow
>white = silver
Etc etc.

What color would you attach to Kinger?
What color would you attach to Zooble?
Is Pomni the red character? Because with Gangle, almost her entire body is red.

TADC goes beyond color coding and more into abstract concepts better than sonic ever did at a level tards understand

Zooble is cranky and possibly trans and a discontinuous body showing there is a body and mind disconnect

Jax is the sort of mainstreamed autist who can kind of behave socially but uses being snarky as a way to mask

The therapy sessions are them trying to get across what they struggle to get across in normal interactions

i can't get into stuff like 8-bit music theory or similar channels for almost the same reason. they try to look at pieces of vgm through this hypertechnical theoryfag lens i doubt even the original composers themselves had in mind mostly. hell it's more likely most of them had SOME grasp of music theory but just went off by "vibes" a lot of the time

Sometimes a turbo autist is really really good at conveying abstract concepts and that can bleed through all the technical and theory elements, Goonsworx does that with TADC and that is my point

Bucketheadland is literally as autistic as sonichu but because the instruments are so good and soulful and conveys musical concepts well, nobody cares about the insane autistic world building about decapitations and rollercoasters

Marty Friedman will bend the rules of theory a lot and add in out of key notes in all the right spots to give it flare and he has the kind of autism that makes him live in Japan

Have you ever been diagnosed as on the spectrum? Like seriously no joke or being mean or anything. They use the term "gender confusion", the frog says "i know your secret, puts the bow on his head and he blushes. That callback is, I think, another part of his personality as with the others, that is hyper sexual (casually cat calls several times) and yes acts like a stereotypical queen. There's also the mother comment about being laughed at for telling her his "secret", which coincides with Cooper's own history. I dont even know how you can miss that.
