We'll likely have to wait for steam to choose if they want to refund en masse. But you may have better luck if you include stuff like 'the multiplayer won't work due to them hiding/badly informing us that we need a 3rd party account to play' and that 'it was playable for 3 months without one' etc.

May 2011 my first account with PSN was breached... I had to change my phone number due to the increase of spam calls. Then again in 2017.
Sony you can fuck right off... I hate the requirement for extra accounts above Steam now, I closed my Ubisoft, Blizzard and EA accounts. If your game requires another account from me then I am pretty much not buying your game.
The worse thing about this with Helldivers 3 was I finally convinced 3 of my RL friends to buy it. Once one of them seen the notification yesterday he refunded.

Because Ross Scott is basically driving the whole StopKillingGames campaign forward, and he is especially obsessed with exploring game worlds and views them as great pieces of art that need to be preserved. Without Ross, gamers would just roll over and take it.
All you would need is a Helldivers fan who is as obsessed about holding Sony accountable as Ross is about preserving games.
I hope this doesn't happen and Sony becomes even more antagonistic towards its customers as they already are. Sony and snoyniggers should drown together.

Yeah I'm trying that route next. I'm 0/2 for other reason but this last time I went for multiplayer doesn't work. I don't want the money back to my credit card and don't care if the limited DLC I bought gets refunded, to be honest.
