That's stupid. Besides the fact that Vaggie should know that leaving someone alive who has such a vendetta against her and what her girlfriend is trying to do is a terrible idea, Vaggie has been shown that she will answer any problems with violence and even killing. She was going to kill Sir Pentious with her angelic spear when it was made known that he was a spy for Vox.

It would have made more sense narrative and character wise if she was about to kill Lute, but hearing that Charlie needed help left Lute. Because her girlfriend's safety was more important than killing her enemy. Would also play into the the dumb song that Carmilla sung to Vaggie on how she shouldn't fight for vengeance but for love instead.
