I remember not giving a fuck about Hazbin, but thinking Helluva Boss had a fun initial premise, and getting an actual industry pro like Richard Horvitz in also piqued my interest. But then it just turned into shitty gay owl melodrama instead of the part I actually liked, and I was really disappointed

She couldn't even let her gay bestie sarcastically roast her a bit in the Helluva Amazon Prime announcement video without having Charlie interrupt to say how amazing and loved she is.

I don't even dislike Hazbin, but the chick has to have the most sensitive ego I've seen since John Kricfalusi.
This is giving big "my creations should love and worship me" vibes. Who cares if Blitzo calls you a bitch, you made him. It means nothing.

It irks me because I like concepts of this show. But it’s so badly put together. Same with Helluva Boss.
That's one of my issues with the setting of the hellaverse shows as well. All these really interesting (on paper at least) details, especially the hierarchy/dynamics between these "tribes" (if I could call 'em that, only because I think it's cool), that barely get explored... or are executed in a mostly boring/unsatisfying way.

New leaked clip from Hazbin S2. Maybe there's more clips, but the ones I'm finding are from back in November.

Him twirling Charlie like that reminds me of Alastor in the pilot twirling Charlie.

I, too, enjoy seeing the protagonist get taken advantage of by an obvious villain just like what happened last season. It's like she didn't grow as a character at all! 🙃

I do like how at no point did Alastor go "Oh ye Charlie, theres this TV dickweed I had a scuffle back in the day. If you see his fancy ass, dont trust him"
Even if it makes no sense for Alastor to never have taken the opportunity to shit talk Vox in front of Charlie, she shouldn't trust him anyways because of the fact he sent Pentious to spy on them, and told him through his watch, right in front of her, to kill himself if they didn't kill him.

Remember in the pilot when Charlie immediately knows Alastor has ulterior motives, describes him as "Sketchy as fuck.", and gets him to help with the hotel without any binding deal taking place? I miss that Charlie.

I miss Pilot Charlie as well. Seriously she was awesome, had a very hands on approach design, was clearly very street smart, didnt allow others to walk over her.

It doesn’t make sense why the cherubs where kicked out of hell when they are witnesses to demons carrying out hits on earth
The writers put themselves in a corner by adding them, while having a rule in the show that using the book, specifically to murder people, is 10 degrees of illegal in both heaven and hell. If the cherubs go back to Heaven, IMP ends right then and there, they are hunted down and executed for their crimes, so the cherubs need to be banished, funnily enough by viv herself.

Does it create plot holes regarding the banishment? Of course. It’s a viv show though, and this one is the least egregious, shockingly. It’s telling though when most fan works depict them as villains though. Which is weird because they’re enemies are murderers. I hate fandoms so much.

Funnily enough, there are several ways to make either the cherubs banishment or a return to heaven work, but it requires actual effort when writing and not stream of consciousness.

I oddly saw maybe a few works of them as villains, several of them as these neutral parties and one comic of where they make their own assassins gig to compete with I.M.P.
