In my version of him in a story I want to tell he can’t destroy souls but can cause damage and misery to them and change their forms for fun similar to Caine from tadc because he’s a sadistic man child and sometimes there are things worse than death or oblivion .

Season 2 should've ended with Lucifer turning Vox into a rubber duck with Season 3 being about their many adventures. Beats depressed husband problems and relationship drama.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=rxjqZV7GfRMThat's Vox's VA in case you're wondering.
Its actually funny, cause that Hazbin Fan wikia for Journey to the Light uses the concept how all the ducks Lucifer has, are actually souls of the most fucked up sinners or those who pissed him off for not liking his circus.

Leave it to Viv to fundamentally fuck up adapting the actual Devil in her very gay pornographic soap opera.

I'm astonished that Velvet isn't a streamer n the actual show and is instead a social media manager.
To be fair, she does stream in the actual show, so she just does both things
Yeah, that's a Viv thing where she just adds shit to character even when it is a) pointless; b) never utilized in the actual show; and/or c) doesn't really make sense with the character. Velvette is a doll Sinner that is the co-ruler of the Entertainment District and the social media overlord while also being a fashion designer and critic, an influencer, and a witch cause she makes potions on the side. She also appears to market a lot of the Vees shit and is the supposed backbone of this group. Oh yeah, and she's a black British Lesbian in her thirties.

Just a reminder, I'm not including her powers/skill-set because they are vaguely tied to the stuff I mentioned above, but it's more like whatever looks the coolest in a specific shot/scene.

To be fair, a character having traits that's not relevant to the plot makes them more rounded. There's no real story significance (yet) behind Blitzø's horse obsession or Stolas owning plants. That's why Vaggie's infuriating, because majority of her likes/dislikes listed on the wiki are about Charlie, and the few things that don't relate to Charlie aren't really shown, as opposed to say, Angel having a liking for blob fish. All the more reason casting an Asian woman to play Niffty is undermining, because it's implied that Niffty knowing a foreign language is due to her being of a foreign ethnicity and not a side interest she has.

But regarding Velvette specifically, yeah this circles back around to how her character was clearly not thought out compared to Vox and Val. Viv claims that Velvette was intended to represent social media in the early drafts of Hazbin, yet I recall Vox was said to have been that, hence Hell's Instagram was originally called Voxtagram. I doubt her being a fashion designer was planned because Viv expressed desire to have Vaggie wear a different outfit in every episode, so that aspect of Velvette wouldn't stand out if Vaggie was doing that too. And the whole "backbone of the Vees" doesn't hold up given the whole parallel between Alastor and Vox is that Alastor rejects companionship despite he only got as far as he did because of Rosie, and Vox craves it even though he was able to build his success on his own. Velvette just comes off as the token female member of the villain group, and it's evident by the fact that she's going to be the last Vee to be focused on, which we won't see until a few years from now.

so it kind of comes off as corporate pandering funnily enough.

EDIT: FUCK WHY DID IT SEND ME BACK SO FAR AND ACT LIKE THERE WERE NO NEW POSTS

The fact that there's asexual flags that are for "asexual but has and enjoys sex" (I'm not making this up) shows how fucking fake and gay pride shit is ( not in the homogay way in the lame ass gay way) I did a rambling post about this shit a year or two ago lmao.
