You cant say the animation is being worked on one month and then say 'OH LOL SORRY HAVEN'T STARTED YET' the next.
Gen zed is the Schrodinger's cat of shows.
It's also possible the the animators have finaly quit. That isn't surprising considering one of them was homeless.
