I called them once. The police came, but they did so begrudgingly. It's almost as if they job is to show up.
Anyway, given the current state of affairs, it is clear that the police can't do their job, even if they wanted to. The chain of command is fucked beyond belief.

A few times. My experience varied depending on my needs. The fire department and ambulances always showed up pretty quickly and were helpful. The two times I called the police, they were less so.

One time I was bit by a dog in the park, and after bleeding profusely while getting in a yelling match with the owner, I called the police. They redirected me to the useless bylaw department, and it was a nightmare from then on. 0/10 experience, I wouldn't recommend it.
