Wizardchan is going to go nuts over the game and buy the shit out of it when it comes out. Calling it now.
 
This is going to end up like Manhunt, where moral guardians fly into a rage over it, while actual gamers don't play it because it's stupid.

The game itself looks retarded. I was bored with the gameplay by the time the trailer ended. Seriously, how has nobody learned that those finishing move cutscenes completely trash the flow of a game?
 
What I liked about Postal was that it didn't force you to kill anyone, you could be as violent as you wanted even if that meant non-violent. I think that is what helped its character instead of it just being kill people simulator. I could see this being boring unless it has a sense of humor instead of being gritty.

A quick reminder, there is a very big difference between POSTAL 1 and 2.

And also 3 but we don't talk about that one.
 
I'm a fan of plotless murder simulators because they're a fun way to just mindlessly kill time without getting engrossed in a long campaign. I just hope it's like Postal 2 in that there is an open enough world that you can fuck around in it for a good long while trying different things to entertain yourself.

Also, they're totally controversy-whoring. Even the logo is a ripoff of DOOM.

maybe they're doing a bait and switch with this game? make it seem really gritty from trailer and maybe bam it's a parody when you play it or the last trailer before it comes out? maybe i'm being annoyingly optimistic and they're seriously trying to make it 90's edgy just because don't get me wrong the gameplay alone has me very interested and actually now that i think about it has anyone heard of Damage: The Sadistic Butchering of Humanity? i bring this up because well in my opinion that's how disturbing this game is, postal was and i mean the original very disturbing but Damage takes the cake tl:dr about damage you kill a whole city and nuke the world which is funny not going to lie i think it had some funny moments as well as like "woah what the fuck" moments let's hope that this is a marketing campaign and there is humor(if not well story isn't really needed in certain games as long as they're fun)
you play as micheal modelcitizen the all-american boy who's kidnapped by a scientist and brainwashed into mike damage (i think that was the name) so you kill the scientist and like you pretty much run around a city killing people and doing drugs, and i mean like anyone and they stay dead no respawns i don't think so it's possible to empty the city but the end is pretty awesome/funny as you blow up the world with millions of nukes just the ridiculousness of that anyway i know it's off topic, but that's why i spoilered it, here's a longplay for those interested
