For some extra information about Kane that I should mention: last month he did an interview where he talked about Portal 1 & 2 inspiring a good amount of his Backrooms concepts.

Guy clearly has passion for the franchise(s), if he's actually picked for the job then I would be much more satisfied with that than the vast majority of current Hollywood hacks. That "Welcome to the Enrichment Center" video also basically is just a high-effort atmospheric tribute trailer for the games, you really have to be a certain type of autist to do that lol. Not to mention the literal short-film.

My only real wish is that when you play HL3 on the Frame is that you get full on stereoscopic 3D. Kinda like a 3D monitor thing, apparently I have a 3D vision monitor but never got the glasses...

It'll be announced when it's ready to be shown off and they know they won't delay it again.

I always believed it would be announced months after the hardware is released anyway and I think people need to get that through their skulls already.

This talk of movies is reminding me again how much of a FUCKING MISSED OPPORTUNITY IT WAS that VALVE FUCKING CUCKED US FROM AN ADULT SWIM TF2 SFM SERIES BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO HIT DEADLINES. FUCK I'm STILL MAD ABOUT THAT

Adult swim during that period was so far up their own asshole with cheap merchandising that I'm absolutely certain Mike Lazzo had a very productive conversation with Gabe Newell about the future of their partnership and then followed it up with flat out disrespectful terms

Like "okay since you paid for the production of the show we'll keep the ad revenue since it's on our network" type shit. Mike Lazzo is indeed that kind of shameless jew. The cable industry does not have any respect for talent and valve clearly has a lot of respect for theirs.
