I saw the Pinsplash one. Curious to know if any of you know what the fuck he was sperging about at the very end? Something about a Nazi? I'm not in his discord and he doesn't link a Xitter account. Are any of you in his discord and able to translate the tism? I do seem to recall recent usage of Sailor Moon clips, which leads me to speculate he is a liberal harpy IRL and possible a troon-to-be. It's regrettably common among Sailor Moon fans.

Have there been any retrospective videos or articles going over the notable HL:A leaks with hindsight from the game coming out?
I really want to know what leaks were right on the money, what ones were sort of close but missed the big picture and what ones were just complete dataminer schizo delusions.
McVicker is a bit obsessive, but he has enough free time to datamine most things valve released and is very public about his "research". A broken clock has to be right eventually.
They used the music from Portal Reloaded (mod) trailer. The skit (and the mod) were actually pretty good.
D-Brand really went all out with the Portal imagery. I am actually shocked Valve let them get away with heavy use of mainline characters (Glados, "Dave" johnson) and general Portal 2 imagery when they are only advertising a third party product. I wonder what kind of a kickback Valve gets.

My memories are not too clear because I don't have time to look back, but I remember reading about HLVR for a while before it got revealed, like at least a year or two.
Tyler also wasn't blacklisted by Valve back then after he streamed that Half Life Alyx beta build without Valve's permission. So he had insider info which he doesn't have for HLX now.
Half Life Alyx, while there were prototypes and such prior, I think started development in 2015-2016, so it took 4 or 5 years of total development. HLX, apparently started development shortly before or just after Alyx was released. So that's been in development for at least 6 years so far.
Also, calling it now: a Portal movie would probably have some kind of ending zinger either showing Black Mesa or some Combine shit. Unless they decide to completely forgo the Half-Life attachment for some reason.

People on Twitter seem to be circlejerking about it being because of the HL3 bit at the end. However, they also still have this page up apparently.
I find this development extremely fascinating. I really would like to know the actual reason for this. I'm also glad I archived it.
