The board has lost its gas, and anything worthwhile examining has already been posted. There just isn't enough content to justify keeping an entire board open, plus, the board has somewhat devolved into a spergfest (given NJA's magic ability to disrupt threads with a single post).

It's always had its problems, even when it was just a single thread that exploded a few months ago. Long story short, you had people that weened and brought idiots over here and there were tons and tons of senseless arguments that took place in the thread and here in the subforum. Overtime, more and more people stopped posting here because of the decline in quality of the posts and mods like @Hellblazer even got sick of this place too. People voted recently and wanted this place to be archived and moved back to Lolcow, but @Null said he wanted to implement his Final Solution on the board. Other folks have been speculating that since summer's coming up and more kids are active during that time that a cartoon area might be created or something.
