Well, all you have to do is look on Twitter/ X.

Not only are they desperately trying to defend Hestia's new "diverse" design by saying, "You just hate people with vitiligo who got their chance to be in the spotlight."
This is the usual defense they use for skin disease, but they're also trying to say that Hestia is covered in soot, meaning Hestia is performing blackface.

There's no way in hell GaymerX or Sweetbaby weren't involved in this somehow. When normies think of diversity they think of a black guy or maybe an Indian. Morbidly obese, gay ,wheelchair bound, women with an obscure skin disease isn't something they came up with on their own.

NONE of the fighters are doing great. SF6, Mortal Kombat, even Tekken 8 is suffering. Nevermind the wokeness levels, the behind-the-scenes dev drama and technical aspects of the games (i.e. the update "patches/fixes") are pissing people off. The only people that like them are the FGC shills, as usual.

She looks like the Giustiniani Hestia statue translated into that same, personalized, elemental color grading most of the other Gods and characters have. Like the fire and soot of the hearth I get, and when I think of a chaste matron of the home, my mind sort of translates her into almost like a pre-church nun in a habit or clothes that don't accentuate the figure at all. I dunno? I just sort of see the whole reaction from both sides of the aisle to be pretty reaching, but THEN again it is Supergiant...

I'm going with my own metric, and by that metric it's creative.
