So, uh, about those knife crimes in England.

If people want to kill each other they're gonna kill each other regardless if gun or knife bro. I think you should be looking into why people are trying to kill each other rather than taking away guns that other people can use to defend themselves with.

They banned ‘zombie knives’ 3 weeks ago in the UK. Guess the blacks will just have to stab each other with regular knives now.
 
I live in a country where guns are restricted and you need a license for them and yet if I wanted to go kill someone I've got more ways than I can think of. Just in my vehicle I have probably over a dozen hand tools and power tools that would be pretty effective at killing someone without a lot of effort. I have an axe and a machete in my vehicle at the very least just because I go in the bush a lot.

I'm guessing you've never seen how effective a mass machete attack can be. There's a reason why it's the weapon of choice in a lot of gangster attacks over guns. It's quieter, machetes are incredibly easy to acquire and almost just as effective a weapon in an enclosed, crowded space. You also get the brutality factor which a lot of gangster types like to employ in their attacks.

There's no reason why the average person should not have access to whatever the current defensive technology of the era is other than control by some authoritarian. Literally in all of human history that is the only reason why weapons have been restricted from average people and why America goes so hard about that shit in their constitution.
