Well, if you look at his stuff it's extremely Western and Eurocentric. His fake country is actually supposed to be on the eastern seaboard of the US and Canada. The language is Spanish. The religion is Catholic. The maps, government system and all of that are European based, even to the point of using the metric system. Even it's history and toponyms are European based. I see few, if any, indigenous place names on his maps, but he was sure to put in decidedly un-Latino things like Gloucester!

And if you look at the countries he's interested in, it's pretty much Latin America and Europe; he specifically excluded almost all of Africa, India and SE Asia, and only included Iran and the Arab states because he's flirting with trying to shock people by pretending to be Muslim. Hence his weird things about trying to make Iran the centre of the Middle East; most of my family's Shi'a (not Iranian, or even Twelever) and we don't even do that! But then for him it's identity politics.

In the end, Phil is only comfortable with what he knows, and while he can form crude stereotypes about Latin America, Israel, China and Japan based on what he's gleaned from pop culture, he's still only comfortable around other white people. Countries like India, Kenya or Cambodia are just too foreign (and dark skinned) for him. I suspect he knows he'd get called out for being an obvious white guy. And for not even knowing what we speak, how we dress, what religion we are, etc. Phil likes to think he's the smartest guy in the room, but the minute some guy from Madras or Dakar corrects him, he'll get furious. That's when the xenophobic small town uncle comes out and he threatens to deport people, because he thinks he's smarter than some dumb wog, spic or A-rab.
 
When he annexed that bit of Canada in the public announcements, wasn't it a part that would have displaced a good few Native/First Nations people, or am I failing Canadian geography also?

Yes. I still don't understand the Beothuk thing he has even though they're extinct. I guess it's like his Aztec or Mayan sperging.

The ogre in question did send Phil an "I just want you to know I'm very proud of you" message a while back. I think Greta views Phil as a useful idiot, easily flattered and easy enough to throw under the bus when the time comes.
 
I ain't no expert, but I thought dealing properly with the aftermath of a vaginoplasty required a high level of medical compliance and disciplined routine, particularly at first. It's completely irresponsible to promote such a thing for someone who is unable to maintain the minimum adult standards of daily hygiene.

I mean, we know the whole 'vaginoplasty' lark is a scam, but now we know they all know it, too.

Except of course that Mayans are still around. Even the Nahua still exist as a distinct people, despite the Aztec Empire itself falling with the Spanish conqhest; there's over a million Nahuatl speakers in Mexico today, maybe half of whom don't speak Spanish at all, and a smaller number in El Salvador. Not that Phil would know this of course.

My guess is Phil probably had some basic class about the history of the NE/Eastern Woodlands around the time of his J. Lo fetish and the idea of an extinct Native American group stuck with him. What's interesting is just how provincial Phil's thinking really is. He only does stuff he's already familiar with. Pretending Oregon is part of "Aztlán" let's him play at being Latino without having to interact with real Latinos. When he made up his fake Spanish country, he included familiar (and extremely Anglo) place names like the decidedly un-Hispanic Gloucester. Since he tends to conflate all darker skinned people, I think that pretending the Beothuk were Latinx was his way of justifying Australatina.

It's weird, but Phil is one of a very,very few special snowflakes who hasn't really claimed Native American ancestry (as far as I'm aware). I'm surprised he hasn't claimed his grandmother was a Taíno princess or something. Even mentions of Aztecs, Mayans, Olmecs, Zapotecs, Chichimecs and the like are pretty rare and passing in his crap, beyond the "Aztlán" thing (which in his case is more to do with Chicano nationalism/La Raza crap) and "Xochi" (which, much like his Amaterasu, bears no resemblance to anything from mythology itself). Most of his Australatina crap is firmly Iberian, not Mesoamerican.
