I bet thisll go one of three ways
1. Massive runaway success like the others, Take Two rolls in massive cash flow from consumerist trust in their brand and studios and setting a new standard for videogame development and pricing practicies
2. They make a lot but not as much as they promised the investors. The media and Take Two will say the game did amazing and beyond expectations but because of the enshittification of the game due to the current game development scene, GTA 6 will slowly peter out and theyll lay off a chunk of the studio to make up for costs
3. The game does good at first but quickly sinks as only the upper escalation of consumers want it or can get it (people like extreme diehard fans and streamers) because of the pricing and reluctance of buying new games. Take Two falters and it starts sending ripples through the industry

Thats cause theyre no game having youtube watching cattle
most of the "cattle" you guys call are just regular people working 9-5 that have limited time to game and T2 knows this, if the game is helluva structured because gay reasons it matters little as long as the golden medals are given by completing the "mission challenges".

Do you even know what "RP" stands for?
you mention regular roleplayers from online, so much so you mention the pathetic RDO, not the FiveM niggers, which is one of the reason why GTAO currently has these "normal jobs" missions but with the added griefing of playing in GTAO rather than following the insanely strict rp rules and i do mean insane, you can't own a fucking oppressor MK2 and randomly shoot at someone without a loicense and if a cop tells you to stop, you better...

No mention of any single player (story) DLC either.
Single player DLC is basically lost knowledge at Rockstar. Red Dead Redemption had one of the greatest single player DLC’s ever created while Red Dead Redemption 2, despite its wild success, got fucking nothing. Single player modes feel like a capitulation studios make with gamers in order to justify their real desire for multiplayer mode money sinks.

I'm looking at the retro 80's pre order pack

Like...are you fucking shitting me? You're going to give out Tommy's hawaiian shirt print for guns but not the actual hawaiian shirt?

Fucking Zoomers and this weird fucking obsession with gun skins I swear to fucking god they're all faggots.

The GTA crowd has a large overlap with the COD crowd where they're a bunch of dumb brown people that are obsessed with pumping out their weapons in the most garish way imaginable.

Details about the pre orders are live and rockstar and uh. What's this? locking customization options behind the deluxe edition. Fucking lmao Rockstar's going to do everything to milk the cows aren't they?

It really wouldn't surprise me if Rockstar and Take 2 ends up scrapping the whole paywall thing.

One thing the oil and gas company figured out a long time ago is how they make the most money by keeping their prices at a happy medium. If they get greedy and charge too much, people use their products less and they lose money. That's not something Rockstar can afford considering how much time and money they've put into GTA 6. They need a stellar launch and anything less than that is unacceptable.

Actually, I’m dumb. I changed my mind. Blue Velvet like cosmetics. That’s an 80s movie.

And they have that tan. Hell, some serious storytelling like Blue Velvet would elevate VI into a satisfying crime drama.
Most fans hated how serious GTA 4 was and you know they have to appeal to a mass audience for it to sell. Appealing to Lynch fans would make it an automatic flop.

Instead you'll get something like The Place Beyond the Pines and Infamous to appeal to the modern consumer.

This one even takes place in Florida.

I place part of the blame on twitch and streaming culture. Twitch wasn't even a "thing" when GTA V launched but a lot of streamers used GTA V as their daily gameplay slop source, it's one of the few games that consistently has streamer counts in the high 5 digits and 6 digit range. Rockstar has essentially decided that those retards and the endless third world cattle that obsessively slobber over them instead of actually playing games are their target audience.

Yeah I ain't buying this piece of shit at $80. $70 was already a hard enough sell on its own, but $80? Especially when the ultimate edition is liable to have locked content behind it? I think I'll wait until it's $20 thank you very much.

Edit: according to digital foundry, no actual disk will be included. Just a download code. What the fuck are they thinking? Clowns.

the fact that GTARP is a tag on twitch also confirms that.
which is weird, GTARP are mostly pirate game users who would never buy GTA to begin with because they hail from SAMP which needs a very specific game client version that steam doesn't offer for a while.

All I wanted was to shoot up a hospital in Vice City.

Oh well. I'm not paying 80 USD, 100 if I want some customization doohickeys, for a fucking digital download code. They don't even give you a damn map anymore. I give up. I'll wait for an actual disc release or PC port, if there is one.
I’m sure the base game would be massive where printing discs would be more expensive on top of preventing potential leaks. This may be the only AAA game yet that cannot be exchanged.
Leaks don't matter much since they're enabling pre-loading of the game on PS5, I wouldn't be surprised if Rockstar is single-handedly speeding up PS5 modding with this move.
Just saw the Miami Vice Jason and Chula Lucia attires. Bros im doing a heel turn and pre ordering tomorrow.
For what? No reason to since the game is essentially digital-only, just buy it on PSN and pre-load it a few days before launch.

Take Two started the game price hike up to 70 bucks, now these assholes are going to get every other stupid publisher pushing 80.

Those $100 GTA6 rumors got proven right because of the "ultimate" edition, I have no doubt that they will single handedly be the ones who makes $80 the standard.

Remember when Mario Kart World came out at $80 and people doomed and gloomed about how every game after it was going to cost $80 for the base game because Nintendo shit sells well?, even when that didn't happen up until now because nobody actually tried it and did the typical $60/$70 plus 20+ DLC and the only other corpo that tried (Microslop) got bullied into lowering the price? Pepperidge Farms remembers

The difference also with Nintendo pulling that BS over other publishers is that publishers know that Nintendo can pull all sorts of stuff because their loyal fanbase and brand recognition. It's in the same notion that 3rd parties always doing significantly worse to Nintendo's first party affairs on their systems, the only real exceptions to that were in the Gamecube days with Sonic Adventure titles.

Despite GTA having a whole brand recognition aspect publishers now see a 3rd party is jacking up pricing so blood is in the water. T2 first started with their sportsball titles being 70 and others followed suit immediately I highly doubt this won't be the same despite publishers lacking the same brand recognition. It also will sell well no matter what because people see GTA and buy it, it's even more ridiculous seeing how they locked features behind the 100 dollar SKU and we all know how their new GTO will rake in further residuals.

The physical release being just a code is nothing new. I bought a command and conquer collection and it was just the plastic case with a steam key printed on a piece of paper on it, strangely enough it was cheaper than the steam sale price.

I'm seeing this a lot, I hope to God they're not bots, these niggercattle are going to buy the $100 edition in droves. This is gonna ripple through the industry for sure, all because some niggerfaggots need their bing bing wahoo no matter the cost.
