If I had to guess they will have shady glowies again (One thing V did decent enough) and some cartel or some shit. I know the recent games take place in a different continuity than the ones in the 2000s but I hope some form of the Vercetti Mob shows up in some capacity. Obviously Tommy won't be in it though considering that the great Ray Liotta has passed. The ending will probably be a complete copy of V's endings and either one of them dies in one or the other or they both survive.

Honestly I wish more open world games took place in New Orleans (Or just New Orleans with a different name).
Besides RDR2, the only game I can name is Mafia 3, and Mafia 3 was at best mediocre even if I thought it used it's setting well.

With everyone bitching about niggers niggering around, this is supposed to be a satire of America. The teaser showed only things happening in America every summer.
Expect troons galore and DeSantis and Drumpf stand-ins.

That's the issue though. Three of the Four OG devs who created all the memorable aspects of the franchise no longer work for the company, and as a result Rockstar is becoming just another run-of-the-mill AAA publisher. There's nothing that suggests any of the mockery will be done with any of the nuance or subtlety of previous entries.

Two things I spotted with the trailer:

A long bridge connecting to one island (maybe the Florida Keys) and the Weazel News report about dirt bikes terrorizing the city. The latter, I hope it's random events and not just a mission.

Another thing: about the twerking lady, would that be a feature in GTA Online 2? If so, how much would it cost?

I don't have a problem with a female protagonist if it's written well. The trailer was only brief, but she didn't seem annoying. A Bonnie and Clyde story in the GTA universe would be a lot of fun, and just about the best way to have a female protag in GTA without it feeling forced.

The main bad thing I took away from the trailer is the 2025 release (meaning the PC release will be in 2026). You'd think Rockstar would figure out how to release to PC at the same time by now.

Your issue is in thinking the delayed pc release is a bug and not a feature. They know damn well at least 20 million people will buy this on ps5 when it launches, only to buy it again on pc, when they would have just bought a pc version and be done with it if they launched simultaneously.

Rockstar doesn't really release their games on PC at launch. There is some strategic thinking to this that may involve getting more then one game sale potentially on first a console then later on when its out for Windows.

Backroom deals with manufacturers may also be on the table because they definitely do have the chance to make their fair share of money when a big game for the Grand Theft Auto series comes out. Although it's more then a decade ago now, Microsoft paid $75 million to Take-Two Inactive to stop GTA IV PS3 exclusivity from happening so one can only imagine what the negiotiations could be like now.

Since everyone here seems to think this trailer is shit because 'it didn't show anything off' I linked the first trailer for all the other 3D GTA games.

I feel like a LOT of people are showing their age when they complain that this trailer didn't show anything story related.

No fucking shit, it's a "trailer 1". This has been Rockstars "thing" for over 20 years.
