Which of these free sets would you pick kiwis?
The girl hair and socks are pretty but i feel everything else is hard to mix. The exposed back and armpits is also eye rolling. The boy suffers from generic loocks but that hair color is rare and i like the hat and gloves.

For anyone who cares, NTE can be predownloaded in PS5 only if you buy some sort of pre-release bundle (just like Endfield), otherwise we'll be able to download it at release in like 14 hours or so.

Fontaine cw is out and fuck rng, fuck hoyo and for good measure, fuck me for playing this game.
So, I go for Lyney. Not heard too much good about him, but I still want him. Loose 50/50 to Sigewinne, the only character I did not care at all about. Would have been happier if I got a constellation on Emilie, but it is what it is. Got magic boy and went for Clorinde. Lost 50/50 again, to fucking Sigewinne again. While I will complete my run for Clorinde, with this luck I might pass on Navia.
Edit: I could do some work on my impulse control, but that would require me to fix my habit of procrastination first. Maybe tomorrow. Anyway, got Clorinde, went for Navia. A third lost 50/50 in a row (Clorinde this time, and no, the irony is not lost on me) I got her and am now going to farmsville for all the stuff I need to make them remotely useful.

Tried NTE a bit last night. Didn't get too far into the game but I'll write about my experience.
- The cutscene animations are good. The story is serviceable, but nothing game changing.
- Been playing it on mobile (tablet) and while it runs better than WuWa, it still has some stuttering issues. It lacks graphics too. I've also come across visual bugs.
- Characters could've been better designed. The males are the absolute worse, but you can't expect much from a waifu game.
- Combat is like WuWa's, but worse. Feels rather stilted and skills aren't "flashy"
- There's no way to remap controller buttons and I hate this.
- Climbing and gliding feel off. I can't put my finger on it, but it doesn't "flow" well. Maybe I'm just too used to WuWa's smoothness.
- The gearing and awakening system is rather neat.

Okay so before playing, I looked around on reddit for what to expect and a loooot of reported severe performance issues on hardware better than mine.
Regarding the content, opinions are mixed as hell.
Apparently, the English voice work is poor. EN Hu Tao voices everyone, it seems. It's a Frank Welker situation I suppose.
Since I play JP, I have zero opinion on the matter. Thankfully, you can select what language you want before starting the game
Moving on! Be warned, it's long.
All in all, I don't think I'm gonna stick with it. I'll log in for the freebies, but it clearly wants to be THE main game. The game you prioritize above all else because there's soooooo much to do and it's kinda overwhelming. It's like Shenmue on steroids.
Beyond the fact that it's a gauntlet, I'm also not...vibing with it. Maybe I'll come back when there's a cool character in rotation, but idk first impressions are...okay.

The tone also completely shifts from super serious to a lel so epic random comedy anime, made partly annoying by some of the characters.
Sunday of the Loucha clan seems weirdly familiar with us. There's even a brief scene where he waves at us, and we barely react, and I'm like "?????"
We meet the annoying teal cat bitch, and she says we smell like cocoa, and they linger on it a little bit as though it matters, and I'm like "?????" again.
The game has an annoying habit of dropping a bunch of terms on you.
Like; "This is the city of Los Pepes Angeles. It's been ravaged by the L'Cieth after an anomaly called the Kuiper Belt Moon suddenly appeared. MC, you were found with a category 4 L'Cieth that we here at Fortuna Mysterious Bullshit Incorporated didn't detect. What's your deal?"

Performance: I did experience stuttering, but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. I did fiddle with the settings though, so that night helped.

Now how the combat feels...? It's kinda meh. It's a bit janky. It's not the worst but it's not great either. It's okay. Also, the lock-on feature is very inconsistent for me.
Characters also got a slight case of buttershoe when you sprint.
Anyway, the overworld. It's big.
Pretty fucking big actually. You can't even zoom out to get a good look of the whole map.
Really fucking big. You get to enter all the shops, there's a lot of mini games, collectables, all kinds of shit. It's a massive time sink.
You can also climb. It's very annoying and not very intuitive. Your character stops wall running and resorts to regular, slow-ass climbing after a few seconds.
