I hear ya. I've been farming for Shirk, and I've gotten exactly one tolerable artifact.

It's a really shitty 4* banner tho. It's not on american server yet, if you're willing to gamble i'd say "build pity" on the skirk/shenhe weapon banner, at least 30-40 cause you might get one or two xiphos.

I don't play American servers.

If you use her with furina (and you should) then you can put marecheuse hunter on her, it's argueably better for normal atk skirk, way faster to farm and more efficient since you get furina pieces too.

Nodkrai will have unironic space tech and moon powered stuff.

In the cutscene we see hydro traveler outright bubble the "fake surtalogi" into full immobility which is not only absurd but isn't even what what it does in normal gameplay. Cutscene traveler has to basically cheat and use different powers.

Cutscene traveller can also use multiple elements at once, it's also something that's not possible in normal gameplay. Why Hoyo always makes the traveler horrible is beyond me. You can argue that the Wind and Rock variants are to teach the fundamentals of the element...but this late in the game everyone knows how Hydro works. Everyone knows how Pyro works, etc. etc. Dendro was the last time you heard of people saying the traveler was actually good, until you got better Dendro units.

Arle can deal with ulpa or statue, but I have only one of her. And I really got lax on following the news, meta, etc.
The question: what teams I should utilize here? There's 20 days left, I likely can boost chars up to speed, I just kinda at a loss which ones to focus.
Here's my list. Arle c1, Nev c1, Nahida c2, standart ones have some constelations.

Gold is level 4 right? If you can clear abyss and have the right units it should be doable, the real deal is knowing how to counter the bosses.

It's tulpa but the half tulpas are stronger and you need to kill them. You can use a strong vape team, overvape team or hyperbloom team assuming you got all strong units.

My team was Mavuika/bennet/xilonen/citlali but you don't have them, at best you can do arle+bennet+xingling or maybe an overvape comp with chevruse + fischl + xingling.

Is your kuki build up full EM and do you have a spare EM set + dragon bane for raiden? If so you can do nahida/dendro/kuki/raiden. Even tighnari works since tulpa stays quickened. The good thing of this comp is that it frees up your xiangling+bennet for lava dragon.

Spam pyro until it gets angry, spam more until it's stunned. Burn excels here but mono pyro or a very spammy and strong overload can work assum it's a very strong team.

If you want overload you better bring a c6 chevruse and make sure to do the burst into triple aimed shot. My first run was Arlechino/chevruse/xingling/kuki but a fischl would work better. I tried a mono pyro comp now with arle/bennet/xingling/kazuha and it worked but it was a lot tighter (116s).

-The gimmick of this boss is that it starts spinning lasers, gains a TON of DR and get a rage bar that fills overtime. You lower the bar by doing cryo hits, once the bar hits zero the laser stops and it loses all resists and becomes weak to cryo. You NEED at least 2 cryos for this one, and if you use ayaka make sure to not waste her burst, it has to hit when the bar is zero. Note that if you use nightsoul units like citlali it will get angry and stronger.

You want escoffier and ayaka on this one 100%, and then furina which leaves spot for either neuvi, yelan or a third cryo. On level 5 you definitely want a third cryo or at least a kazuha to cryo but on level 4 i used Neuvi/Furina/Ayaka/escoffier (use neuvi beam after ayaka burst).

tl;dr: I would try

tulpa: nahida hyperbloom
lava dragon: arle overload or monopyro
overseer: ayaka escofie furina + neuvi/yelan/cryo.

edit, i did with units you have:

A few 5* weapons used but even without them it should be doable. Can use nahida over tighnari and a subdps over zhongli. Make sure to funnel arle particles to XL first then when CD resets to chevruse to burst triple shot then burst with XL, ideally you will burst with xiangling right before stunning it. Chevruse needs c4 and a fav spear or caduceus event staff. Raiden can technically hold fav to help.

I'm trying out Girls Frontline 2 since I want something to scratch that xcom itch. Bit basic, but I'm not that far into it

I guess it's another case of "i don't know what you expected" but all 4 (5?) shades being whitehaired honkai 3 rejects is underwhelming. I didnt expect a husbando mind you but at least for these supposed "cosmic angels beyond or comprehension" to not look like like generic interchangeable gacha waifus.

In some cope news, i rolled 100 on current banner, got emilie around 80 but at least i won 50/50. Kept rolling until 60 pity on mavuika hoping for iansan but the most ie ver got was C1. I'm afraid i feel for the iansan propaganda cause she's really hard to actually get value (not even clorinde can sustain it) and doesn't look that great until c6.

She also got the short end of the stick on exploration cause jesus christ, Varesa makes her look like a cripple. Why is her skill 16s cooldown? Why she controls and jumps bad? Why does she burn NS so much faster running on water? She is worse than her dinosaur.

Either way, turns out emilie was the secret ingredient to winning level 5 afterall.

She's holding jade spear, 2060 atk, 80/144 ratio with 139 ER, deepwood 1/8/8 so not optimal by any means but she did her thing. I dont think Emilie's that strong for a modern standards specialist support (escoffier who isn't even niche), but these bosses force her into meta. I feel she'll stay benched until lava dragon returns or until someone makes burn more versatile.

After my wishing spree, I got the C.S.I. lady and have now collected half of the archons. Lost 50/50 on Mavuika, but that happened in the first tenpull, so pretty damn lucky. Might go for the weapons, since all I have now is Skyward Pride/Spine, and they seem to be far from ideal for them.

hoyo can try, but it's one of those #genshincouldnever things, the whole character and how she interacts with the MC wouldn't be the same in genshin. traveler doesn't have rover's big dick energy. I still play genshin but wuwa's waifus are one another level.


and lot of players consider SK's arc still one of the peak stories in the game (ymmv), visually, atmosphere, character outright confessing to you....

I like how they ask me about the weapon skins that i'll never get too. If only this mode allowed difficulty 5 reward be obtainable on coop it would be actually ok endgame addition. The weapon skins are still whale bait for those who care but you now have like, an actual reason to play coop at high level, either you're poor or whale. It's not like one dust of enlightment per month 42 days would break the game.

Did the Fate story event and it took like half an hour. But that's becuase I abused that skip button like it was my ex. In all honesty, I care fuck all for Fate anymore, but I'm a little miffed, I'm disappointed that Lancer isn't also a playable unit.

Also, I find it fucking funny that in the pull menu, the game is like NO ENGLISH VOICEOVERS.

Took 150ish pulls for Saber but her LC took 10, so thats something, now aiming for an E1 archer, both are fairly strong but archer shits on literally everyone when it comes to st damage
