One thing I've often noticed helping people of a lower AR is that I often see many puzzles and chests unopened/unsolved in their worlds. While they may be small amounts of primogems (if any), when there's hundreds of them to collect it does eventually add up. Other than that, completing the dailies and events is the only consistent primogem income and you should go as far in the abyss as you can.

any tips to grind for primogems?

Get a decent job and then wipe out the credit card.

Other then that its just play the game and try to get as much content done with chests/dailys/puzzles/etc.

a perfect example of a fun gimmick that a lot of people liked was the duos event where you swapped between like 6 duos. I would probably make it three teams of trios or four teams of duos though

Seriously fuck that event. It would've been fun if it didn't require you to have so many characters just to succeed. Sure, they gave you a couple of good characters for free but it sucks for people with barely any characters in their roster let alone ones with good weapons and artifacts. That event was just a big ol FUCK YOU to newer players.

Leakers are saying Albedo and Eula will both rerun TOGETHER and you can pick which one you want, with pity being shared wtf.

This effectively means the devs will rerun 2 old characters at once. All i'll mention is:

1-The next floor 11 buff will actually be 60% Geo dmg and 60% PHYS DMG, which already made me theorize eula would be possible or that itto would be viable as physical.

2-This is (allegedly) confirmed already by "reliable" leakers.

3-Dont overthink this, we'll find out at the next stream since the devs have to announce the next banners. We know albedo is coming because sword+dragonspine but if it's eula too then... it's true i guess.

If this is true then it's pretty massive. Two reruns at once means characters are much more likely to return sooner and randomly. I'm already feeling the weight of my weapon banner rolls hitting my stomach lol. I kinda want Eula but i never thought she would come back this soon... This is really awkward now.

Both banners will probably share the most two and more often one 4*. MHY will probably increase repeats when we are used to 2 banners.

not necessarily. 2 banners at once and then only a re-run down the line like now would mean you'd have to pick and choose - which also means for people that want both there's a higher "incentive" to open their wallet or wait possibly months like now, if not longer.
mihoyo probably checked the data and saw that most people simply save and then dump it into the char they want. the easiest way to drain those savings is to increase the amount/frequency of chars, so people don't have enough primos for the char they want and the next one (otoh if they up the frequency that means potentially getting constellations faster this way, but that saving requires more discipline then the current system).

one theory is ganyu is so busted that mihoyo is hesitant to re-run her too soon and wants to wait till she's more powercreeped. personally I think with the new system they're fully aware how busted she is (plus her waifu level) so they're just waiting to pair her with another high-earning banner for even more FOMO - wouldn't be surprised she gets paired with the raiden shogun re-run...

Because Eula will appear in the next event with Albedo and the devs love to have the rerun 5* reappear in the story somehow.

Considering these factors, i'm going to guess 2.4 will actually be both Xiao + Ganyu during lantern rite and then Shenhe or someone new.

This is also terrible for me, since i also wanted to get both Xiao and ganyu... It's gonna be tough for f2p now.

While this definitely opens up avenues for Mihoyo to stack patches with highly sought after characters, the current state of reruns was pretty abysmal. The fact that Albedo, Ganyu, and Xiao are taking around a year to get a rerun is frustratingly slow if you really wanted those characters. My hopium for this change is that the rate of reruns makes some of the FOMO of picking one character over the other feel negligible. I think if they aim to give each limited 5* biannual banners, that seems like a reasonable amount of time to me so the FOMO doesn't hit as hard. (Though I wouldn't object to more frequent reruns or even just more free primos) F2P/Low-spenders are going to have to be a lot more cautious about pulling on banners though because the nature of this new model is highly unpredictable. I'm already reevaluating which constellations I really want for my 5* right now because the opportunity cost can be potentially huge now.

If you want BOTH limited character rerunning together you also need to win two 50/50s and if you dont, you might feel double pressured to swipe your credit card. It's still FOMO but in a more extreme way, both in greed and generosity.

The good thing about this is that, if you're rolling for 4*s then you get two 5* options, making it a lot safer. You can either roll the 5* you want or the 5* you already have and dont want c1.

I've already seen soooo many people saying they regret getting hu tao c1 and/or homa. This is really a great change but also really stressful for f2p and beginners. Like, sure i dont need to worry about Kazuha and zongli taking a year to return but now i have to worry about them coming together out of nowhere in just a few patches.

Odds are the general community is going to pay more attention to the potential leaks than before as knowing what the upcoming banners are just became that much more important.

Problem is, rerun characters are hard to leak. New characters get leaked easly, because they are being tested on beta. Old characters can be whatever,

yeah, we didn't even know eula was there till literally yesterday before the livestream. i think what happens in the beta is that you're given a couple characters to test out and everyone you get is on the banners, i believe someone said something along those lines during the speculations on childe rerun.

Nobody can confirm reruns from beta but we can definitely make strong guesses based on it. Example:

1-New weapons. 2.2 beta had Polar Star bow amd it straight up had the word FATUI in the passive description. 2.3 beta had the new event sword that boosts defense (only 1 sword uses wants defense).

2-New artifacts. 2.3 will add a new artifact set that gives def% + geo dmg artifact and gets that stacks off field.

3-Abyss leyline disorders and floor 11 boosts. 2.2 had water+pyro boost and 2.3 had geo and phys boost. 2.2 disorder also literally shows Childe in it.

Like, there was no proof but in hindsight, it was obvious childe, albedo and even Eula were coming back. Once 2.4 beta starts, if we dont see 2 new 5*s, then it means we're getting reruns and something will hint at who.

If we get anemo and cryo abyss bonus, then yeah, it's gonna be Xiao + ganyu. But if we get swirl and shield strenght then it would be silly to not accept it's would be venti + zongli.

It took a surprisingly long time to confirm Childe+Hu Tao. Heck even this patch, we knew it was going to be Albedo+Itto very early on but we didnt know about Eula until like 6 hours before the stream happened
