Finished the AQ. I really enjoyed it, and it really hammered the point home about how the devs needed time to wrap up so much stuff, because a lot of plot threads were concluded here. I expect Sandrone's SQ to do something similar to the Institute and Narzissenkreuz quests.

Although it is a bit weird how calm everyone is over the massive world breaking event that just happened, but I guess that's the power of the gatcha status quo lol.

Like we just nuked the world tree and replaced it with a jury rigged sand nigger supercomputer. You'd think more people would be freaking out a bit, especially people worrying that Celestia might finally wake up, but I guess this is proof that the heavenly principals are truly asleep at the wheel.

Based on the leaks for 6.7, looking forward to the new area and fantasy russia beyond that.

Honestly it's fairly believable, considering since Fontaine we've had at least one potential World Ending Catastrophe per region (Fontaine's prophecy, Natlan's War with the Abyss and the Apocolypse Questline, everything with Dottore in Nod Krai) that at some point everyone's just embraced it.

Though I'd laugh if we ever got a line in the vein of "Oh hey Traveler - oh shit its the Traveler" considering the one constant in all of this shit is, well, us.

Also think I'm ready to drop Mecharashi. I'm just waiting for Rosa SP and that dude with the eyepatch and the Danganronpa-looking girl, but for the past few weeks, all I've done is just...grinding. Grinding and upgrading.

It's sort of beginning to feel lik a chore.

I need to get down to four games again, Depending on how Endfield's next patch it, I might drop that too.

As for the AQ, I feel like they could have worked on it a bit more, kinda lacked polish imo (some of the custom animations seemed way too stiff). It was nice seeing jeht, the aranara and the desert stuff but some of it's plotpoints got resolved way too abruptly. Decent AQ all in all (even if the rewards for this patch suck ass)

I like how at first, my twitter feed was people talking about how excited they were for her, and as the day went on the feed switched to schizo-posting about how her outfit/robot change has completely ruined both her design and lore in ways you wouldn't believe.

Great fandom, all normal tolerable people.

have to side with the xitter people on this one. I was really expecting Pulonia to be with her (like in her burst he would be carrying her around and shooting while she sipped her tea or something cool and unique like that) but they completely scrapped him and replaced him with some literalwho atomic heart knockoff big booba robo woman. Also her skill animation is a downright rehash of neuvilette's, it's not even "paying homage" or whatever, just a straight lazy rip. I'll probably just skip her since this new shilling doesn't appeal to me at all.

I'm honestly glad that Sandrone turned out like she did because I was hoping for a reason to skip her. I've been pulling and spending too much as it is in recent months and I want to replenish my primos a bit after getting Lohen next phase.

I'm disappointed that they just had to give her a skirt that's super short in the front (seriously, what was wrong with the old one? Do Chinese gooners throw a fit if they can't see a character's underwear without trying to look?), but like BinaricHate I'm mostly put off by the creepy, big-boobed robot maid. Imo it looks really dumb when it comes on-field. I do like the burst animation though.

But it's quite obvious that Hoyo will make you regret skipping her because you won't be able to do Stellar Super Conduct without her, and there's already a boss in the works that apparently can't be bruteforced without it.

This I will never understand. Pulonia was like the Oz to her Fischl, the Ajaw to her Kinich, etc. I want to pull her anyways because fuck the meta, but the Pulonia removal and the skill design...that's just fucking lazy. Seems to me they spend more time on the mechanic they're shilling than the character.

That said, her animations are kinda underwhelming. For someone with the title of "Marionette". i was hoping for some kind of puppet combat but she literally sits in the same pose through all her rotation. Her effects are more holographic hi tech and remind me of dottore than ruin robot tech.

Losing my interest in mecarashi too despite spending some money on VIPs on it. It's a good and difficult videogame but it feels so low budget and low effort that it feels like the devs really don't give a fuck about improving it and might unplug the servers any day of the week.

I'm also pretty sure it uses a lot of AI art and AI translation, not that i care but it'd be nice to at least look like you care.

This game has no real "fandom" either. I joined the discord cause i wanted to find a guild and every fanart is AI generated, every content creator is guide, every new player think every new event is shit, no one gives a fuck about the story etc. It's so bizarre, i never participaed in a community like this.

This way you can lose your Wrio 50/50 directly to qiqi, isn't that great? Hell that might be the only reason they buffed her. They couldn't even put Cyno spear in there cause it's too useful (maybe that's why it didn't get buffed).

The HSR player character, the Trailblazer, does very little in the story and is borderline a non-character. You are usually a bystander watching other people do the protagging. You are never recognized for your individual power or skill. There a few prerendered job change cutscenes where your character strikes a cool pose, but that's it. At the start of the final chapter of the Amphoreus arc, the MC becomes Kephale, a huge thousand+ year old titan, but it's only for a 2 minute CG and then is never spoken of again.

In ZZZ, Wise is much more of a protagonist. It helps a lot that he is an actual character with his own thoughts and tastes and history, and he talks to the other characters, ruminates on what's going on, etc. But in the base game, he has no physical power and instead is mission control pulling strings behind the scenes rather than fighting himself. Apparently in the first expansion (haven't gotten that far yet) he starts training to fight, and the next expansion he will get a summon or a transformation that allows him to be playable.

You dont really need her weapon to make her work. That said if you have Chisa(and hopefully her weapon) youll have hiyuki essentially shredding enemies.

What Mihoyo didn't figure out was that turning Wise into John Anime was kind of a bad idea. The 2.x plot was bad, and so was the abuse of deus ex machina but the only thing that made ZZZ any different from their other titles was the fact that Wise was kind of relatable in the sense that he had the cover of a 3rd rate video rental store manager while he did things that were big, but not save-the-world bullshit that everyone does. Now that he is Kirito 2.0, I've kind of checked out because this is not what I am interested in. I won't deny the story in 1.x was kind of trash, but it had some potential. Making Wise into another martial arts manhua protagonist was the death of that potential

I have just found out that the neuvilette laser attack in locked behind her C6. At any con before c6 she just does the gay little pew pew spurts without the whooooshh neuvilette beam.
