my only real issue with it is that i am just tired of anything related to the bloodline storyline and every time something like this happens it just means things are gonna keep going. if they really are planning on dragging this out till wrestlemania just so cody can actually win this time its gonna be hell.

I've been tired of coconut niggers for the past 3 months. It's unbelievably annoying that this is going to last until April.

Everything about Roman and the Usos is just boring as fuck. They are all mediocre workers at best trading solely on their family name and I don't understand how anyone is supposed to give even half a shit about any of them.

The entire angle seems to be based around maybe getting The Rock to come back to do a 5 minute match at Mania.
 
I have a feeling it’s gonna be like when Cena went major part time. He was booed mercilessly from 2009-2016….But then he left for long periods at a time and people realized what they lost.
Thinking about it from a literary perspective:
Roman is going to be vanquished at Mania 40 and the mighty warrior will finally be able to rest. The Big Dog will finally get his spot by the fireplace.

As what? The rug to wipe your feet on? I swear I mostly see Wrestletalk promoting this crap as the best storyline of all time. Adam Pages road to getting the world title is better and you've had to have watched his first match with Adam Pierce in ROH to his run in NJPW to his stint in AEW and the BTE segments to fully grasp what was going on since TK only cared about what went on in AEW. Hell the Dungeon of Doom storyline was better. At least you could have fun watching it and it led to the formation of the NWO since Hogan was turning evil.

(Solo wins with the help of Heyman who stays wise man bc he is sith lord and Roman/Solo are his red head guy with double laser swords/Darth Vader bc the Bloodline storyline is in fact all about the wise man)

Should be interesting in a ten car train wreck sort of way given that the rumors floating around is that the Bucks demanded that they immediately get the tag titles/win the rubber match as part of their new contract and Tony having to deal with caving to those demands, which aren't exactly doable in practice given that he also (allegedly) gave FTR Jericho-tier creative control over their booking as part of THEIR re-up, combined with the fact part of the big sale for Collision is that it's the home of the tag team belts. Not to mention the Bucks are (allegedly) the main hold out, refusing to work with CM Punk/FTR in a Punk/FTR vs Elite angle.

Ten gets you twenty that the match ends in a clusterfuck of a contested finish so Tony can do what he did to his world title and splinter the tag belts into two. IE the Bucks "officially" win by blatantly cheating, but FTR escape with the physical belts and call shennanigans and refuse to give the Bucks the belts/declare that they are still champions since the Bucks cheated and refuse to acknowledge their loss. Which leads to the Bucks pulling a CM Punk and pulling out an old set of AEW belts from their private collection as their AEW belts after Tony Khan publicly decides to being a cuck and tells the Bucks he won't force FTR to hand over the belts and like with Punk, his "compromise" is to let the tag belts be disputed and while acknowledging the Bucks won the match, he's basically declaring FTR (like MJF) the canon tag champions and that the Bucks vanity belts are a new lineage tag titles ala Punk's. And probably force them to call their tag titles "the US Tag Titles" to subtly diss them given how the US tag title was the consolation prize tag belts in the old NWA days that the Midnight Express, Rock and Roll Express, Fantastics, Bushwackers, etc fought over whenever the Road Warriors had the tag titles.

Alternatively, FTR get forced to job the belts and are given the Dollar Tree consolation prize of the ROH titles (along with Punk getting the ROH world title) as far as Tony STILL trying to force a ROH revival down peoples throats even though Discovery has repeatedly told him "get that ROH shit off our AEW programming, which also "solves" the issue of the Bucks/Omega/Page not wanting to do PPVs with Punk (meaning Punk will be exiled to only wrestling on ROH brand PPVs). Or the bullshit of FTR/Punk getting the trios belt even as the Elite continue to refuse to work a program with the three or even work any further programs with FTR now that FTR has been jobbed out and stripped of the tag belts.

I think what makes cody work as a face is that despite being a pretty typical "white meat babyface" he isn't being an archetypical wwe face from the 2010s who main trait is "eh I'm not really bothered about this" he actually cares about ahit and gets angry he doesn't just brush off losses and cut glib promos like prime super cena or babyface roman reigns

Warner Discovery maybe adding a live sports tier to their HBO Max service. This would explain the new deal The Elite got. The Collision show, ROH being talked about on the show as well as some belts being back on there like the TV belt. W/D wanting more PPV's. AEW may also get a similar deal to the WWE/ Peacock deal because of this, allowing AEW to host their old shows and PPV's on there and probably not be heavily edited like Peacock does.

aew is never getting a streaming deal or they would've already been on max. the elite got new deals because tony is a huge autistic money mark who was afraid they would leave for wwe.

more importantly, cody rhodes is the greatest man to ever exist, and his match at summerslam was an all time great. gotta love the codester baby, ya just gotta
