Anyways Im doing that something very similar to that but 9mm, as subsonic 300blk is way too expensive for a fun plinker. Already have nigger 1000 rounds of primo 150gr syntech and about 700 rounds of 165/147gr hush.
Looks like it's a pretty easy with a CMMG barrel and 5.45x39 bolt but the barrels are expensive as fuck for what they are. Feeding might be weird and I think I saw a video where I guy did some complicated machining to make shit happen. The BCA bolty uppers are cool, I got a few and like them a lot

reload man. cast your own lead. you'll be shooting much much more for the same amount of money.
It's probably the highest margin ammo to be loaded besides varmint/hunting rounds.
I had high expectations for accuracy but have learned to just treat it like thin .45 or 9mm as that's essentially what it was replacing. It's not practical for most things besides maximizing a 5-8in barreled PDW if you can't use a 10.5+ 5.56. Supers sorta fall apart past 200y and subs 75-100y but its cool so whatevs

I mean if you want an assault rifle with a suppressor and sub-sonic ammunition, I'd rather take an AR shooting .300BLK than an AK shooting 7.62x39 as far as functionality goes.
I will raise you one, I would take a CZ Bren 2 in 9” barrel in 7.62x39 over a direct impingement AR-15 in .300 AC.

I would never get a PDW unless I could adjust the gas block for subsonic and supersonic ammo. Not an easy thing with an AR-15 unless you modify the hand guard to give gas block access.

@SinistralRifleman How do you use a glue stick?
