I'm still rather miffed over the gay pedo thing.
Aside from that, I'm drinking a nice Bavarian beer, apparently from the worlds oldest brewery. So it's not ALL bad :)
 
Nice & mellow weekend so far. I’m a bit behind in my reading though enjoying having so much to read that interests me.

My cat started acting sick, hiding, sleeping all day, but was eating & drinking still. I took him to the vet last week & he has some tricky to diagnose disease, FIP, which used to be a death sentence for a kitty, but there’s now meds that help. I’m hoping he goes into complete remission, because he’s a sweet little cat I picked up on my travels, about 6 years ago & he’s just great. A real good cat.

Apparently, FIP can lay dormant for years & not affect a cat sometimes, but some it does. The vet said he probably got it when he was a street-cat kitten, but that’s just a theory. I’m researching more about it now, & the medicine is seeming to work. The weight loss he went through was startling, it happened so quick, so now I’m fattening him up again. I’m just glad he’s perking up again. He tolerates getting his medication very well which is good because he’s got 11 more weeks of the daily med.

Otherwise things are pretty okay, all things considered.
 
I've been pretty productive today, at least compared to my usual average sunday.

Doing fine, thanks. Had a taste of my horseradish-infused vodka, it turned out pretty well! Could probably use some more pepper though.
Anyway, I bottled it up, now it waits for New Year's Eve.

As an aside, the autumn is surprisingly warm this year.
 
I am stressed, misguided and disillusioned about the future and I don’t really enjoy the work I’m having to do until mid next year. I also live a pretty great life all things considered, though that mostly extends to material status (fresh water, delicious food, clean clothes, safe home, solid technology, etc). However where I exist now has me convinced that I would like to escape people as much as I possibly can and live a quiet isolated life with as much time to myself as possible. I don’t know how one does that though so I’m just kind of a ghost in my own life right now, which is becoming mentally grating, killing my focus and clarity about more immediate work.
 
I'm feeling pretty good. Just made my self a burger. Might go for a nice cup of hot coco on this chilly day.
 
I still can’t tell if I have lasting respiratory damage from taking too long to get diagnosed with adult asthma or if I’m actually just that out of shape. It’s probably some mix of both, which is both worrisome and annoying. Conversely, I think I’ve gotten a little better at putting my foot down on things, finally got rid of dead weight that’d been bothering me for a few years, and am looking forward to a much-needed scene change with family, so it could all be much worse overall. In any case I am retarded and unemployed.
 
Managed to get home from a work trip without getting cucked by the flight reductions, and have been enjoying the weekend. I'm making some chili tonight, which I'll be sharing at a social event at the apartment tomorrow. Sampling a few new beers to decide which one to use in the chili. All things considered, doing pretty great.
 
As winter begins to set in and there are fewer days where it is pleasurable to ride my motorcycle, I have gotten back into Kenshi as a time sink. Otherwise all is well.
 
Life has been rather nice lately. My ancient kitty is still alive and kicking and I've been trying to focus more on hobbies and less on the news which has helped with my anxiety some.
 
i thoroughly enjoyed college niggersportsball yesterday and will ignore Niggersportsball Football League today. another good weekend
