I can't get over this whole convention happening on the USS Hornet of all places. If you ever get the chance to tour one of the many boats of the U.S. museum fleet (you know, when it's not crawling with fucking furries), do so. There's something surreal about being on those old ships and realizing just how large they actually are. I went on a tour of the aircraft carrier Yorktown and watched a presentation they had in what used to be the ship's theater. Shit you not, after around 20 minutes, I completely forgot I was on a ship. I haven't had a chance to tour any of the destroyers, but I'm sure they're equally impressive.

I've looked after medically incontinent people professionally before and I never felt comfortable even just having the curtains drawn, even if there was no chance anyone else could see.
